Ahfam I believe the same as you or I did. The RNS and interview made it sound like we had paused development and now we're picking it back up? I was thinking if we we're in negotiations then we probably would pause the preclinical development to save money but if either party walks away then we lost that time. It makes sense, and Tim eluded to the fact that we wouldn't pick the indications the other company would and they would develop the compound as they see fit. Covid has changed that. I do still think Covid is a bolt on though. A bit like a loss leader in a supermarket. The compounds ultimate development and use will be in the wider autoimmune arena.

I'm probably known on here for giving SAR the benefit of doubt. I'm very rarely negative about them. I'm ok with the raise and the reasons that were initially given in the first RNS. But in the subsequent RNS and interview. SAR and Tim seems to have completely disregard the last 12 months and it feels like we haven't progressed at all. I'm sure when Tim said value in 12 months he meant it and was confident about meeting the deadline so something has changed. I did buy 200k more shares @0.59 to protect me from the dilution but it was peanuts compared to some holders. Last year, I set myself a deadline of the end of 2020 where I will reevaluate my holding. I'm hoping Tim comes up with something much sooner than that. I have a feeling that he will and it won't be far off. Let me be clear though. I will hold for as long as it takes but they have to give me something to hold for. This has to be the last time they come to us for money. FWIW. I do think this is the last raise us LTH will see.

I have another observation. Tim said the Covid element is mainly 1801 but also in 1802 to some extent. How could these be licenced separately if they use the same method. Or do they? Will this put potential partners off. Say someone is interested in an autoimmune compound, especially with the Covid link but they don't want the cancer compound. What do they do if the covid link is the same across the two compounds.

I watched it again, maybe it was Tim trying not to say stuff. It doesn't change how I feel but I wish that the communications weren't driven the assumption that something has to go out. The RNS was clear enough for me. This interview just muddied the water IMO.

Fadec - I thought we knew that 1801 was the focus? All the slides show 1801 out in front and almost at the clinical P1 phase. As far as i'm aware, we didn't need extra cash for that. Do you think we are going to start P1 ourselves? or a POC. Is 1 million enough for that? Think i'm just going to switch off for a bit.

I'm surprised a Tim did an interview in the first place. I think it's a badly planned knee jerk reaction to whats being said on here. The interviewer had a list of questions to ask, presumably supplied by Tim himself and I feel like Tim was winging it, no preparation. I could have answered them better by studying the RNS for an hour. I still think we will get more news flow when the shares are in issue and after the BIO Digital presentation. There really isn't that much else Tim can say and it showed, so why do it? What info have the brokers given to get new investors. Is it something we don't know?

PC - yes, I believe that is correct. By offer I mean unofficially. Numbers must have been discussed. All your questions seem sensible but Tim can only release news that is relevant. An interview with Proactive would clear most of them up. The silence after the raise is deafening. Lets hope Aber is right and news will flow once the shares are added to the market. I'm of the opinion that it will be radio silence until next week.

Sad - Yes, he said they would have to tell us if it were bad. Same if it was outstanding. So we can take it as it's middle of the road. I can see why you wouldn't release average news in an AIM market but I believe we have a right to know. Its our money invested. They can\are share it with potential partners though.

Aber - I'm trusting the board in a big way. Not as heavily invested as you but I could use the £18k I have invested here to finish refurbishing my house, like the missus wants me to :-). I just see it as I've come too far. I've had my ups and downs with SAR, made a bit on the way but I've stuck by them because of the measured way they communicate. I don't for one second believe the Parker isn't doing anything (although he might not be the best person for the job) same for the NED's. Tim needs them around for something and we just have to trust them . I still think we had an offer on the table but it wasn't nearly enough and I believe that is because of our weak negotiating position. The placing should strengthen that position and the science will bring more companies to the table. I also think Tim should release the Lupus report and anything else they have been holding back. Lets just get it all out there. I'm confident of at least getting my money back here and still optimistic of multi bagging. Lets hope John has found a significant Covid link and that he can prove it with the studies.

Can you imagine if we could get TYK2 to market for Covid? The phrase mega billions is used.

SP might drift down a bit more but will recover when we know more about grants etc.. Hoping Tim shares what the study actually involves so the technical guys here can pick it apart and summarise for me. Ha ha. I'm expecting a bit more new flow now. Maybe a proactive interview? Come on Tim, has the grant application gone in, for Covid, what is the study, what does it involve. What are the timescales? These aren't price sensitive answers but they will calm some nerves here and go a long way to regain some trust.

0.59 and above are buys. IMO

Completely agree Basser. I wouldn't sell for anything less than 3p if any of our compounds got into phase 3. I would be looking for an exit strategy but until the binary win\lose situation comes up. I'm staying put.

For all the negative posters here. Yes, the placing is SH IT but the 4% our shares have been devalued at is much less than if we gave TYK2 away on a bad deal. We still own 100% of of the compound and if it shows promise, the price of any deal will go up. If it doesn't show promise, then it wouldn't have with a partner anyway and we'd have given TKY2 away. If you go back a couple of months, there were a few of us saying we expected a placing at some point. If you didn't, why didn't you? What in your research made you think we wouldn't need a placing?

My guess is the 20% we have to stump up is needed upfront so we can't apply for the grant until we have that in the bank, as it were. We'll have no problem gaining a grant and the turn around is really quick, I believe. I'm sure John has everything he needs already packaged and ready to go. Still feels like we have lost 12 months and we can't attribute all of that delay to COVID.

I'm ok with the placing, I'm excited by the science and I'm good with the timescales. But... The wording of the RNS sounds we haven't progressed at all in the last 12 months. I must admit, that is worrying. Think Tim needs to do a statement to say what they have been doing for the last year.

Andy. If we had partnered for Covid study. We'd still only be exploring the potential. Yes, the SP might have gone up but as we've seen today with VAL, it might only have been by 25%. The market is awash with COVID potential and none of them, including SAR's could come to nothing.

My missus asks me a few times a week. How are the shares doing and I also tell her the truth? Just last week. I told her they were in profit but we may have to raise soon and that will put us at a loss again. That was a well timed, preemptive strike on my part.
