I wouldn't get too excited yet. Its a great find and great potential. They would have use dexamethasone it the TYK2 trial because its 'standard care'. We have data to show our TYK2 is tolerable with dexamethasone. It's not a magic bullet yet but surely a way to fast track 1801into trials. I hope SAR are taking this opportunity.

Bighow - did you remember this RNS or find it with a Google search? Either way, good find. Surely SAR have been talking with the Recovery trial guys about this research? This could really fast track our TYK2.

It feels like a coiled spring without technical analysis. Just feels like something is brewing. Could be more of the same old poo but i'm thinking its good. The placing is done and we await news on multiple fronts.

It's a steroid so no. Like I said yesterday, science will go for low hanging fruit first. It's cheap too. So good news all round.

I know what you mean but they raised to develop TYK2. So Tell us what needs to be done and do it. I'm overseeing 4 projects at the moment. I'm not managing them but it's my responsibility to keep the customer updated. I update each customer once a week with progress, even if there isn't any progress. With preparation it probably takes me an hour to do each one. It save so many question being asked. An institution would insist on this before investing.

Did anyone see the VAL RNS today. That's how I'd like to be kept up to date. Maybe a monthly corporate update. Just the basics. What we said we would do, what we have done. It's not hard!

Looking across the Covid shares I've been following since early march. It looks like the market has become sceptical of most Covid news. Even relatively good news is being followed with a drop in SP. So these tweets aren't going to cut it anymore. We need to know what the plan is.

Yes, news soon. As far as i'm aware the trial is still running? Surprised the website was changed before anything announced though.

I don't like sitting on this fence but...
1. we could be in closed period, so maybe they cant buy? If they did buy, it would mean we are in an open period and aren't in talks with anyone. The two things would probably cancel each other out.
2. Yes, confirmation that we are officially looking at Covid would be good.
3. It would be more likely than John would write this article and submit for publishing in all the major medical journals. Then point the media at these. Not sure what benefit we would get from this though. Sounds like a lot of work and he would have to base it on other TYK2 compounds becase we don't have the data yet. They have already tweeted links to other similar articles. Just think he might have better things to do.
4. SRA737 is out of our hands. There will be things going on in the background but Tim and SAR will have nothing to do with it or be able to say they are hopeful of commencing the development of SRA737.

I find it bizarre that you have invested your own money into a company that you think needs this advice. I would have sold when in profit just 2 weeks ago if I thought the company needed this advice. Someone here even asked his mate to have a word with them the other week! We have 3 experienced BIOTEC guys and 2 world class scientists. I believe they have the business and shareholders interests at heart. It remains to be seen if they can pull a deal off. I believe they can and will.

Absolutely, Basser. TYK2 is a hot compound right now and we have 2 up for grabs. :-)

Good summary, Stoney but you are only picking out the good bits. The £50k upfront is tiny. If the Chinese and SAR thought this was a scientific done deal. That payment would have been much higher. Don't foget this compound has already been in China for a few year. I presume they have access to all that data and still it's only worth £50k upfront! I thought someone had already pointed out that we wouldn't get anything for China sales. The last deal with Humbec was the same We lose a big chunk of the market and possibly the US market if the bickering continues. I'm not pinning anything on this. Time will tell but it's a side show for me.

Our compounds are still preclinical. All pharmas are going of the low hanging fruit first. Re purpose existing drugs that are already approved for humans, Next up will be Phase 3 and phase 2 drugs then the preclinical stuff such as our TYK2. IMO, The appetite for risk is quite low at the moment because of the amount of vaccines being developed. If just one of the vaccines works then the market size drastically reduces and big pharma will be wary of spending hundreds of millions on an unproved drug with a limited market. That isn't Tim's fault, it's just timing and to be honest. I'd prefer a catch all vaccine than me making a bit on TYK2. The bigger picture and all that. TYK2 could be a blockbuster without Covid. All Tim and SAR can do is package it up (with the relevant Covid data) and licence it to the highest bidder. Which is what they said in the RNS.

All we can go on is the RNS. The RNS states it is for cancer. putting 2 and 2 together and getting Covid is a recipe for negative sentiment if it turns out to be a dud.

Working - who do you feel lied to you? I hazard a guess that most here are still here because of this board. As you say, the SAR board tell us very little. The research done here fills in the gaps and makes the wild valuations. The SAR board may have used that to their advantage but you can't blame them if it doesn't go the way this board thinks it will. Tim has said best in class a few times but it has been uttered hundreds of time on here. As for the tweets, why wouldn't you retweet data that validates what you have? Same with the NEDs. We need them for something but I suspect the reason why will never be told because the board would have to admit how exposed we really are. There is loads they can't tell us but there is loads they can. Are we going for Covid, yes or no? What is involved for getting 1801 and 02 to the end of preclinical. What are the realistic timescales? We have to prepare ourselves for the failure of Aurora Flt3. IMO, the tiny upfront payment on that deal represents the high risk of failure. Its a side show. If it comes off, great! Chk1 is out of our hands, nothing much we can do. Hopefully, it will come good. So let Tim and John get on with the big two in our arsenal. They've got the money now, so let them get on with it.

Working. Why were you invested 2 weeks ago? The science hasn't changed since then. Everything you were invested for is still valid. A few here expected a raise, I was one of them. I could sold a few weeks ago with a nice little profit. I didn't. I could buy more now but I won't because I'm at my limit of what I'm willing to lose and yes, we could lose the lot. Some here are over exposed and it shows in the comments. There will be chances to take profits in the future, take them if you feel the company isn't handling this well.

I know sentiment has changed here and can understand why but I do wonder why some moaning are still buying! That baffles me a bit. Anyway, back to my point. I've a feeling we're in for a roller-coaster ride in the next 3 months. Dare I suggest some of the more nervous posters take a bit of profit when they next see it?

But the silence IS deafening! Unless there is literally nothing to say and in that case we may be in a worse position than anyone here thought. There is so much that doesn't make sense and all of it can be explained by an active NDA or 2. Lupus data, "value in 12 months", bringing NEDS on board, not applying for Covid grants weeks ago, Tim's weird interview "we might do this, might do that", no apparent progress for TYK2. The list is endless. There is either something going on in the background or we have been screwed. I'm going for the former. I think it all Hinges on the patent. Let's hope it can be resolved.

Anyone got the link to the presentation yet? I find it strange that we haven't got it yet. Its a virtual conference and usually the videos are downloadable on demand! there is very little detail on the website. I guess to have to register to be in the know.
