Agreed, Fadec. When I talk of NDA's it isn't in the context of deal making. Anyone who has seen any of SAR's data will have signed an NDA. It doesn't mean a deal is in progress. I work with Lawyers a lot and I've lost count of how many NDA documents I have to read it and sign, just to be able to attend a meeting. Sometime, after the meeting I'm not even sure what I shouldn't disclose. Most of the time it's just legal back covering in case something gets out. As far as I know, SAR can and do share data with 3rd parties. They don't have to inform the market but the third party will have to agree to not disclose what they see.

I would say any supporting data would be subject to an NDA so shouldn't be an issue in regards to public domain. The only issue I think is prevalent is the data is already with other parties, they might think they have a claim covered by their NDA with us. IMO this has been the issue ever since Covid arrived. Any pharma who has seen the data, maybe even done some due diligence will know if it has potential to treat Covid. Frustrating for us but not a bad position to be in.

Can't fault your strategy, Ackers. At least you have one. There will be another spike in the next month or two. The sell button will be there for everyone to take advantage of but don't moan if your 100 - 1 shot doesn't come in. They very rarely do.

Yep, I have 20k invested too. There are a some, moaning here who were in profit a few weeks ago and could have sold. They didn't they bought more. If you are invested here and you don't think that you could lose everything, you need to look into this more. The odds at this stage still say, all compounds will fail to get to market. That isn't me being pessimistic, very few pre-clinical drugs get past P! let alone PII and PIII. I once lost 90% of a sizeable holding (for me) in one night. Got the dreaded "did not meet primary endpoint" RNS. That was a quite few years ago, it was OXB. With SAR, although the odds are still stacked against us, I believe we might just have something. I could buy more but £20k is my limit of what i'm willing to lose. It's more than half my pot. If you are worried, sell on the next spike, there will be one soon. GLA

If we want Tim to get us the best deals possible (yes, I did say deals) then he needs to be financially secure himself. How can he hold out for big deals if he is wondering how to pay his own bills. I know a few people earning £100k, I earned similar while doing IT contracts and you know what you spend it. You buy a bigger house, a new car. You get used to it. How many here (who work for a living) could take a 30% pay cut and be ok? I wouldn't take shares in the company. I'd find another job. I know it's our money that pays the directors but I want them concentrating on making the deals. Taking shares seems perfectly reasonable and it will encourage the board to get the best deal they can. If they win, we win. SAR could make some of us here rich and other than stumping a bit of cash we've done nothing. Let them get on with it.

I think Basser makes a good point here. Hopefully the 2 TYK2 compounds can be packaged up in a way that real value can be sought for the shareholders. I'm on the fence. Sometime I wish, some pharma would come and buy us out to put us out of our misery but then, I feel, I'd like to make the decision to risk losing for a bigger prize. I believe there is some middle ground to be had and that those shareholders who want too, will be able to sell for 3p or more when the time comes and equally if you are happy with the risk, you could stick around for the big prize. I honestly think 3p will be achievable this year, possibly more. A buyout for me would mean 5 x that, possibly even 10 x.

PYC have given an idea of deal size. 5 months work for two analyst or wherever they call them. It won't be huge. Won't stop rampers saying its a multi bagger.

Hi Utar - have held PYC in the past. I used to trade it a lot. Missed recent buy n earlier this year though. I will keep trading PYC but I honestly don't get how their business model equates to some of the valuations we see here. IMO, Their statement was borderline insider trading and a cynical way to sugar coat the fund raise. I wish you all luck though.

Which is why we shouldn't rush it. Look at IMM for an example on how to botch a trial and scupper your share price.

Krone - It does and it would be amazing if it allowed fast track but if we rushed it and it didn't it work. It may tarnish what might be a a best in class compound. This is when we need Tim to be a scientist and not a business man.

Covid isn't going away anytime soon. A vaccine for the masses will be next year and we don't even know if it works yet. Lots of cases seem to be very mild but if it mutates again into the kind of strain that Italy and New Youk had then the worlds focus will be back on treatments. We are not behind the curve, we are right in the sweet spot for when the current PIII and PII trails fail. Cytokine Storms aren't new and the fact we haven't got an effective treatment for them isn't because no one tried. It's because the current drugs don't work. Where do you think science will look next? It's frustrating as hell, investing in SAR but the considered, scientific approach to Covid will pay off if the compound works. If it doesn't work then it wouldn't matter when we jumped on the bandwaggon. It would be a failure on our flagship compound. I support the company in this. Most of the companies that jumped on the bandwaggon are back where they were. Little spikes are good for the traders but not for the LTH's. We will hear soon enough but the bigger picture is TYK2 and it's original usage.
