It was worthy of an RNS but we already knew it existed. Tim said it was as expected. Not bad, not Mega just ok. it is very early pre clinical data in mouse models. 5 to 10 years away from market unless they can fast track. It will push up the value of a buyout but will need hundreds of millions pumping into it to get it to market. Unfortunately, It adds no value to today's SP. I don't believe the rise last week had anything to do with the lupus report. Bigger things are brewing.

Find any post of mine where i'm negative about the company. I am a realist and pragmatist. We are where we are. I invest and trade on what the company tells me and I urge all the newbies to do the same. The lupus report, last week, wasn't news. We knew it existed, we knew it wasn't mega and we knew it wasn't bad because Tim was asked the question and he answered it. It gave us a nice little lift but the lupus report is already factored into the SP, IMO. So the SP will settle somewhere else until proper, actual news.

Baserite. There is no moral high ground to take when investing. You can kid yourself that you are funding cancer development but when you sell for a profit, LTH or not. Someone just got spiked because they bought your shares. I am a long term holder, too long. I have top sliced over the years and I've been underwater for a lot of those years. I've increased my holding and bought into most placings, via the market not the actual placings. Apart from one time time. I've never dropped below a million and I've never gone above 3. This strategy has meant SAR have done ok by me. I'm actually in profit today. Happy days :0)

Brighty. SAR are a pre-clinical drug development company that doesn't make a profit. A £25 million market cap could be seen as generous in these circumstances. The rally last week was a couple of big buyers and a load of rainbow chasers. These investors don't look at the news, they don't research. They look at the AIM top risers board and pile in. I'm still not sure what SAR could do to prop this up. We literally, just have to wait until actual news drops.

Luton - If we get to 10p you just added almost £5k to the checkout when you sell! I'd say that is a good move. It adds a bit of excitement between news drops, if you trade a bit of your holding.

Krusty - Mine was set a little higher but the MM's didn't take there.

Yes, I got chastised for having a sell order in. Wish I'd set it a bit lower now. It was always going to happen. Still looking at a nice profit though.

MichelleF1 - AIM is notorious for fleecing newcomers. Usual market rules don't apply. Basically, don't listen to anyone. If you haven't already, make yourself a brew and spend an hour reading the company RNS's. That is the official news and it is all we have to go on. Generally, SAR are straight when it comes to news. There is info on all the compounds, potential deal sizes, timescales. It's all in the RNS's. I've no worries that we wont get past 5p here but don't listen to me. :-)

You can feel the collective anxiety in here, especially from the noobs. Most LTH are like meh. Also, MichelleF1 that's how Market Makers, Make the market. No one ever complains when the SP goes up on little volume. I think we have lots of new investors that have come into AIM during the lockdown. They will have all read The Naked Trader and they will all have stop losses set at a 10 percent loss. It's easy picking for the MM's. Not saying you shouldn't do this but AIM is nothing like the main markets. It isn't unusual to have huge swings in either direction on nothing but sentiment. It isn't dubbed a casino for nothing.

Aber\RMM I tried to make some sense on the new trademark registrations, thought it might give us a clue what it is for but didn't get very far. There are certain naming conventions the pharmas use. Lets see if any delayed trades go through. It will need 90 million or so to trigger a Tr1. Its a lot of shares but if they were will to take all yours in one. We might see a Tr1 tomorrow.

Think Andy is right. It won't go past 1p until the buy order is complete. Might even go red at the close.

Like I said. I reckon most LTH will derisk but not say anything. I'll keep it quiet from now on :-). I will definitely let you all know if I buy back cheaper though.

baseirte - I didn't sell any when we hit 1.6p 4 years ago. I had my finger on the button but got greedy, regretted it ever since. I won't do that again. I'm happy to hold the majority of my shares until I make a big profit or lose the lot but I will de-risk my investment on any little spikes. I reckon most long term holders will have that strategy.

At the current SP most long term holders will be in profit here and will be top slicing at some point, I know I will be. Not yet though. Got cheeky sell order in north of here. :-). I have almost 3 mill shares in SAR. 1st million are a free ride. Bought from profit when I bought at 0.2 and sold at 1.06p. The 2nd 1.5 mil were bought around 0.7 and the last 0.5 mill were bought between 0.4 - 0.6. So I will trade this 0.5 million. Kind of hoping I sell high and buy back again low :-)

We've been on this list before for TYK2. Not really news but certainly tweet worthy.

3% would be 90 million shares though. I know the volume is high but if it is a big buyer they have probably asked for them all under a penny and they don't mind waiting.
