Trouble is. A lot of analyst and economists' think we are headed for a crash to rival the one that caused the great depression. All the signs are there. The COVID casino is feeding the fire. Abosuluelty, Basser. At the very least it dast tracks the compound for the other indications.

Because the contract award is already priced in to the SP. It was announced in May and they gave a clue to its size. The SP doubled on speculation. So market cap increased by millions when the deal is only worth 150k. That's why its going down.

With 3 compounds that are still pre clinical. I'll go with RMM's low estimate of 19p. If we show Covid potential. Double that.

It's funny, Krusty. I think I started all this top slice talk and I haven't actually sold into the recent spikes. The SP never reached the SP I set it at. Still got chastised for it though. I set a new one every day. Just in case. I never let it run into the next day. Anyway. It's close enough to the weekend to have a beer. Reckon tomorrow will be quiet, especially if Tim is out of the Office until the 4th. C U Next Tuesday ha ha.

We've had a lot of dilution since the 28p valuation. Let's call it 32p now. If you are watching, Tim. Its 32p minimum, please. :-)

Krusty. I don't work on percentages. I gave my thinking the other. I have 3 million shares. 1 million are a free ride from a spike years ago. 1.5 million were bought at around the 0.7 range. These make up my 'core' holding. I have bounced around between 2.5 to 3 million for the last 2 maybe 3 years. So much so that I don't know how much they cost me. They are all in an ISA so it doesn't matter. They are probably a free ride and they are the gift that keeps on giving. I've sold them on every spike for the last few years. I said 15 per cent because 500k shares is close enough to 15% of my holding.

Thanks, Thoth. Others here think the grant news will come soon but I think it will be a licence on the back of Covid that will come first. If it is a grant. We have more waiting to do.

Not really, fearg. I would never top slice more than 15% of my holding and on that basis, I would be more than happy for the market to go against me. Chance would be a fine thing!

Thoth - what is your take on what I was alluding to yesterday. From an MA point of view, could a third party fund the pre-clinical work and POC for Covid under the guise of Due Diligence without SAR notifying the market? It feels like a lot of time could have been wasted if we are still pursuing funding. Or could SAR do the same with the placing funds without telling us?

LTH top slicing will have very little effect on the trajectory of the SP. Quite the opposite. You need sellers to keep up the momentum of any rise. If no one sold, no one would be able to buy and the MM's wouldn't be able to push the price up. If you want to cash out at 10p. we will need a high volume of sales at 5, 6, 7p and so on. In truth this share has stagnated because we've had no bad news and most of the shares in circulation have never been traded. We are all holing out for the big one. 5h1t or bust.

Without trying to dampen the enthusiasm here. IMO this is just more FOMO and rightly so, its a good time to buy. I think our next news will be for SRA737. Either getting it back or confirmation that Sierra are progressing it and we will be getting our milestone. Tyk2 news will be in Q4 as will Aurora. Bidding may come at that point but I think most pharma would be happy for SAR to carry this risk through P1. A coivd trial would change that landscape completely though.

aa - if the news was tangible e.g. 200 million in cash upfront then the SP would rerate in an almost verticle line. When you are talking cash in the bank. The company will trade on fundamentals. It is AIM though and Aim doesn't always follow the rules

Sad - Let me explain my thinking. We need cash to put TYK2 through it's pre clinical paces for Covid, do proff on concept etc... There are grants available for this but what if a party, already interested in TYK2 was to pay for that pre clinical work as part of their due diligence? Yes they could RNS that but what if the third party didn't want them too, I mean if it failed POC then it would be devastating to our SP but the compound is still a goer. I work in IT and I've been on both sides of DD. In a bidding situation. You get everything you ask for. Data, access to systems, audits and IP. Presumably its the same for pharma. Anything you see is covered by NDA anyway.

What did Thoth post? I missed that one. Neither SAR or the MM's control what gets posted on this board, it must have violated the rules we all abide by. Sometimes they do let stuff through such as links and live prices. You are not supposed to post them but we all do :-)

Elcap - yes, but sometimes, letting us know would have a detrimental effect, especially if nothing came from it. It is a serious question though. Can someone trial our compounds under the guise of DD. I'm the MA peeps will have an answer. :-)

Damion - my money is on news for SRA737. No more than a month before we'll know. :-) I believe Covid will be sold as a bolt on for whoever takes TYK2. Any data around cytokine storms will have been shared already. Now here is a question though. Can a third party trial out our compound without the company alerting its shareholders? Maybe as part of due diligence?
