RE: I'm out.5 Nov 2025 09:57
Can't say as i blame you, events here over the years have been absolutely shocking.
I think some of the blame should sit with the placing brokers, they have resided over allowing this business to have now, what is it, 17 or 18 raises or more, something like £35m + of investor cash chucked at it and never delivered anything other than empty promises. The poor level of business acumen displayed all the way along has ben nothing short of diabolical in my opinion. Yet they continued to support them just to get fees.
If i recall, i think SP Angel were involved back in the day, they kept changing brokers, we have had what four or five brokers is it?, rinsed their clients and now complete 360 back to where they started. so i'm not surprised the wrap offer wasn't supported fully. i don't think there is anyone left that hasn't seen this AIM prospect and with so many small investor casulties only a mad man would chuck more at this as i see it.
Issue now really is that on the current burn, £900k is not enough, that gives them what circa 4 months runway, not enough. I think there needs to be some guidelines brought in on AIM where you can only raise for say a 12 or 24 month runway and if its not met, you cant raise. The brokers should properly evaluate the capital requirements on the business plan and hold the businesses to account. Good grief even small businesses trying to crowd fund, if they don't meet the target the funding is pulled to protect those that would back it. On AIM its like the wild west at times.
They will need more cash for sure before end of March 26 so will be either looking for a raise yet again or if not look to buy anything our via administration, take CLX private as everything else is a liability frankly IMO.
The broker fees via shares will be drip fed at anything close to .25 during that short window, maybe less, getting their fees out will be priority now and any spikes sold into. Yet another 125:1 consolidation probably called for again if they can get another raise away in March but someone really should say No, enough is enough. It's clear the business model doesn't work but here they are yet again. TBH i didn't think the last three raises would happen but they did so maybe ME will pull off another one why not but at what cost? a lot of people of lost a lot of money on this and more, not to mention one who sadly took his own life.
I have nothing positive really to say, it remains a lifestyle play no doubt the connected cheerleaders will be back here again, although they are awfully quiet for some reason......
I really wish you well and genuinely sorry to hear about your financial hit here but its only money as they say... take care
