I hold the firm belief that ultimately a SP must catch up with the fundamentals.
If a business is making lots of noise and hype but not delivering a bottom line, its share price will ultimately tank to that bottom line position.
Equally, if a business is delivering a solid bottom line, yet its share price has tanked, its share price will ultimately rise to match it.
Here we have Novacyt, for ease of maths let’s say £ 3.50 SP and mcap of £ 245m a PE Ratio of X1.6
Its just proven its longevity, extended NHS, two year WHO deal, solid cash at bank reserves, in practically every testing area known to man, world class bioinformatics, I could go on…
Let’s be pessimistic and say it’s going to be a £100m a year business with £ 60m EBITDA a year. (Obviously its SIGNIFICANTLY higher) and let’s say half its cash is spent on acquisitions, just go with me…
Look around the market and what do you see; peers in Diagnostics on PE Ratio between X15 and X30, just look at EKF Diagnostics (EFK) at PE X 32. Mcap £ 360m (that’s 50% higher value than where we are today on a fraction of our revenues, but it's only doing £ 65m a year and £ 15m EBITDA: -

So, whilst the ill researched here and traders, ignore the fundamentals of the business and dick about trying to scrat 5% or 10% or even 20% profit here or there ultimately, we still have significantly further to go... SIGNIFICANTLY
I’m just sitting back, relaxed, and adding as funds permit. I have my long-term target and its many multiples of todays nonsense materially undervalued share price.
