The biggest debate is accept like serica and show your hand or wat til the full details get published? I personally side with a hybrid of the former as you need to challenge the uncertainty and July is an age to wait in this market for the inevitable great numbers. Debit (sic) free is too hard to ignore with the commodity cycle in its infancy…

Rookie, there’s plenty still to debate about what can be set off against the investment allowance and the longevity of the sunset clause. … expect clarifications, as in its current form, industry has plenty to push back against, with the current tax more lucrative than expected. Changes/tweaks will happen before Parliamentary recess….

Although I understand that there is still plenty of clarification needed on the full extent of the windfall levy, and that the act has not been written into law yet, but the fact that fidelity is shaken enough to reduce position, the company needs to make a clear statement about the impact of the tax on financials as this current spiral shows no sign of abating.

What is becoming plainly clear from all the oil companies is that Sunak has right royally ballsed this up and many companies will diversify away from the NSea rather than invest as the punitive regime is too undefined to make future investment decisions. Totally screwed up the energy security.

Timpam hopefully a move in that direction but likely a few more weeks to wait to find out drill results.

Having spoken to IR , I’ve bought some more . The levy in its current form is obviously deeply disappointing and still needs some clarification but the fcf is still accumulating with great uptime in the assets. Focus also on M&A to keep growing. Stock on loan is not a concern….

Currently butting against key resistance on the smaller interval charts. 392ish is neckline of inverse head and shoulders, worth 28 points upside when it cracks taking us back to the 420 resting point post windfall levy…a close above the 200d at 397.5 confirms that the worst is over, especially with RSI now turned. Good theory but Only issue obsolete, is that surely whoever the stock has been loaned to has to hedge the position as the market moves? Like an option? Unless there is M&A deal with somebody with equity needing to be issued such as a SQZ or Neptune?

Surely those 3m trades are deal entry tardiness or error from yesterday? And only correctly being put in today..
