It looks like we’re now seeing govts around the world realise that quarantine won’t work for all and that testing at borders can be a potential alternative. To offer this people are being asked to pay fairly extortionate amounts or alternatively they have no choice but to pay as its being added to cost of a visa.

I’d wondered if our margins would be under pressure quite quickly, but given the amounts being charged it should be possible to retain EXTREMELY healthy margins for a VERY large market. Countries will want the fastest, cheapest test to encourage travel to their country and will be queuing up for Awacta’s test.

Time to get the calculator back out, have a look at some international travel numbers and reconsider that 180m yacht...

I think the main message in all this is that affimers will soon be out there in the big bad world doing their thing. What a shocking waste of a first post. We expect better. You should have posted unsubstantiated garbage that Covid is disappearing, perhaps something about people selling in a panic, maybe that there's another placing coming or even better that your next door neighbour went to Aldi and the cashier said that his Auntie went for her daily exercise in the Peak District and saw a dog sh.tting out a message that said that news was due tomorrow.

Ooof, that's 'List' talk Chengdo. I doubt there was enough RI interest to hoover up the bulk of £48m in under 2 hours. A significant strategic investor is an odd thing to mention if it's not a significant investment. Day by day I'm believing that the placing was at the request of this investor and Sir Al was advised not to look a gift horse in the mouth that allows them to accelerate the cancer work and sets them up for the manufacturing demand that will come with a product in global demand. But what do I know? I'm just a lowly wamper.

Hi Adam, he did say that. You’re right. We were all angry, disappointed, deeply hurt, weeped, gently rocked ourselves to sleep, those were dark times.

Then we found out that it was a significant strategic investor and maybe it made a lot of sense for Sir Al to chuck a bone their way... especially if you’re making good progress and the BAMS news BODES WELL. If that wasn’t a not very subtle hint of what’s to come I don’t know what is other than Sir Al saying ‘Cheer up Adam, it’ll all be fine, you’ll see’
