There needs to be sensible insurance clauses or possibly the govt mandate the tests and then covers it. People shouldn’t be penalised for doing the right thing. If they become mandatory then something would need to be in place. At the minute the official advice remains not to travel, for that to change this kind of scenario definitely needs to be considered.

Once the new gold standard BAMS test and gold standard LFD are on sale, all other test producers will fall by the wayside. Pop back where you came from and enjoy the hay while the sun shines. There are very dark clouds looming for other test makers.

Yes. If this test works as hoped, Sir Al will be batting them away with a 2m sh.tty stick. They’ll have to move pretty quickly otherwise Awacta will be sat on a cash pile that would see them able to fend off bids. Given the Leeds Uni research and the huge potential I’d hope they’d be able to remain independent and stick with the royalties business model they have, but Sir Al has referenced other takeovers so there could be a target price in mind.
