Indeed TL, good news for both companies. I think we’re in a bit of a holding pattern, but I’d imagine anticipation, and the share price, will rise as we head towards next week. Loads of news to come and today’s conformation that affimers work brilliantly can only help the hopes that the prototypes will produce fantastic results.

They received prototypes, it’s a waiting game to see if they’ll release the results from those or we’ll have to wait longer for the first BBI batches. They might save some time by simply demonstrating that the BBI batches are equivalent to the prototypes in the same way that they plan to for Abingdon. No matter what, I’m sure that BBI and Abingdon will ramp up production and stockpile as soon as the transfer is complete so there’ll be no loss of sales whilst the validation completes.

Btw, why does he think it gives results in just 90 seconds? He’s also said BBI have said how easy it is to manufacture the test - I’ve not seen that in the public domain. Who has he been talking to when researching?

Wrong! The date is incorrect, it references BBI who weren’t announced 2 months ago. It was released yesterday and is well worth a listen.

I think it’s a great idea for them to use affimer diagnostics, AffiDX, as a brand. It does what it says on the tin and lets everyone know that it’s all possible thanks to the genius of affimers. Also leaves the Awacta brand clean and tidy for the oncology side of the business.
