Chengdo, it's been said by others, but I found him to be a vile human. Simple as that. Once upon a time, I asked a straight forward question - incidentally very similar to the debate that still going on regarding levels of infectivity and the possible success or otherwise of a LFT. Rather than a discussion, he proceeded to proclaim I had an agenda, rudely patronise me in an unnecessary condescending manner - I tend to respond in kind. Incidentally, the answer he eventually gave equated to 'I don't know'. He then threatened to leave the board (it's a regular event), subsequently returned and continued in the same vile manner posting all kinds of garbage. If he wasn't so vile, there wouldn't be an issue. It's what he does, he snipes at people in a snide manner and when he gets things wrong and embarrasses himself, the toys are thrown out and he leaves. It was a rare event for him to post anything that added value, personally I don't feel like I've missed out as the 'timeline' was being made up retrospectively.

I think the fact that it's needed several versions suggests the opposite of calming nerves as people clearly give it credence that isn't deserved - hence the multiple revisions. Personally, I prefer to get my updates from RNSs rather than clearly guessing whilst proclaiming in an arrogant pompous fashion that I'm correct.

Spot on, they've got some initial results from the prototypes and are cracking on with clinical validation with bullish comments whilst signing up additional partners. if there were issues, today's RNS wouldn't have happened.

Nonsense. We do not want an LFD compared to PCR. Where the viral load is low is not what you need for mass screening. You need to pick up those during their peak viral load to break the transmission, not three weeks later when they’re no longer infectious

I'm really pleased that LSTM are involved for this reason, if they produce a similar report to the one they produced for some pointless antibody test then it'll include the %s by various groups with varying Ct loads. This will highlight that the test works in the way it should for the groups of people it is needed for in the real world
