That’s a perfect demonstration of why Awacta are THE game changer. The ability to detect the asymptomatic. The ability to outperform swabbing - people simply can’t do this properly themselves. That’s why the FDA won’t authorise any swab test for home use. That’s why Awacta are in prime position to be the most in demand test on the planet. A saliva based LFD is what the world has been waiting for, you simply can’t mass screen the population with anything else.

Gazala, I’m really sorry to hear that but I’m pleased you’ve raised it. I might be the only one, but I find it utterly abhorrent that the wife is wheeled out like a meat shield every time someone mentions his previous behaviour. I might be a bit sensitive to it right now but having just had a close relative diagnosed with brain cancer, I’m disgusted by it.

To simplify, RK has been seen to post overly positive posts about shares at the same time he’s selling. Good luck to him if that’s his thing and good luck to his wife, I hope her recovery continues well. However, it just underlines for all that you should always make your own decisions that you’re comfortable with and not rely on anyone else.

Not sure why anyone would sell when Awacta are on the cusp of global domination and greatness, but each to their own. I also find it odd, I’m guessing they expect a badge. It’s even worse when your so far up your own @rse you declare it as good news.

He said in an interview they’re speaking to other manufacturers that are ‘up for it’. Possibly the same one where he mentioned demand in the 100s of millions per month.

Cross ramping? Skindalous behaviour. Don’t believe in it myself. I also don’t believe anything will come of the therapy. I think the free give away showed that the big boys are currently only interested in the well trodden route. As the oncology AVA6000 work progresses and demonstrates the potential of affimers I’m sure that’ll change pretty quick, that’s when they’ll start forming a long queue with their chequebooks.

Simple as that. I flicked through it, but there was an awful lot of questions, so it shows the complexity of what they’re up to. As I’ve said previously, there isn’t an instant queue of participants, it takes time. Hopefully, as Sir Al said, we can gain access to additional samples from elsewhere to speed things up. The main thing that is needed is patience and equally important, given the reaction to a potential competitor, some perspective. We’ll get results when we get them, the rest of it will take care of itself.

You’ve described two use cases. First, mass screening where it’s up to the individual. This requires a level of trust and I’m sure there’ll be a request to submit data back too. This level is trust is the same as during lockdown, wearing masks and socially isolating etc. You’ll always get covidiots, but it will stop a decent chunk of the asymptomatic from spreading it and on the flip side it’ll save those with a cough needing to needlessly isolate as winter nears. Second, supervised testing to travel or enter a mass gathering etc. In this case, it depends on the scenario, but it’s not difficult to imagine how it could work.

I think our test is better suited to the former, but if we pick up some of the latter, bonus.

Heathrow management are piloting some tests as Heathrow management are worried about Heathrow. That’s all there is to it. Get a load of PR going and get some media pressure on the govt to introduce testing, reduce or ideally eliminate the quarantine to encourage more flights. That isn’t the current issue. The issue is the govt swapping in countries with a moment’s notice. What’s the point in trying to book if you have to cancel and rearrange or worst still cut it short and head back.

It’s a step in the right direction though and if any of those 3 are good enough and they get orders, then fantastic, it’s for the greater good.

Personally I’m not fussed in the slightest. Their test could appear next week and it won’t make a difference at all to the sales Awacta can achieve. The volumes required are way beyond our potential capacity, I’d imagine in the short term, beyond the global capacity and targeted approaches will be needed. $750m: one order for one test for less than half the population of the states. Trillions are being pumped in to economies, spending billions on testing is the best solution
