I disagree afamaman, if Sir Al is busy talking to manufacturers that can scale in to the 100s of millions per month, why would he faff about with multiple small manufacturers? Every new partner is another contract and another risk. Maybe we’re not signed up with ODX as they’re too small for our ambitions? Does anyone know their capacity?

Afternoon Tom. Brh didn’t get the warmest reception on the Awacta board when I asked recently, but I think that was more to do with timing and a few getting caught on the past rise that was based on hype. This time it’s based on results and there’s plenty potential here. Tiny market cap and the speed of result looks incredible

Adding them wouldn’t be a big deal for us. Would be for them as all they’ve got at the minute is Spike’s shed. Our large manufacturing volumes are going to be from outside the UK. There isn’t enough capacity to get close to the 120m a month we’ll need here, plus we’ve got the rest of the world to save.

Although I’ve heard some city boys reckon we’re on for £100Bn which is £400/share for only the UK. Let’s not be silly though, that’s top line and would equate to maybe a measly £40/share cold hard profits.

Thanks for sharing Mac, really good article that’s supportive of mass screening using antigen tests such as Awacta’s. Very interesting that they’ve recognised the role of super spreaders and tracking clusters is more useful than a blanket approach of tracing. Points towards a longer term solution of wastewater monitoring followed by tactical deployment of Awacta LFDs.

Thanks carlotowl. Superb news! Puts to bed the moaning that we’re not getting a mention in the national press. Quite the appearance being mentioned in the same sentence as £100Bn... looks like we’ve had our final top ups on that wonderful dip last week.

This board is a delight of cool calm confidence now. Sir Al’s presentation was superb. He made it clear it’s a case of when not if and that he’s not willing to cut corners and rush something as it would undermine the end result. The dip in the price wasn’t met with panic, but bemusement and top ups. Looks like the rest of the market will now catch up, we can sit back and enjoy the ride. Here’s hoping for a few more intraday RNSs on the way :-)

What do you think has changed since the 30th Sept and the last time you asked this question?

If the govt wanted to roll out an antibody testing programme it’d already have happened. My view all along was that the RTC would shift focus to antigen testing and it looks to be the case. Sir Al has confirmed they’re having detailed discussions with the govt and lo and behold 2/3 RTC manufacturers are now signed up with Awacta and there’s a strong rumour of the ODX joining the party. It’s all remarkably coincidental otherwise. It’s a bit odd for the RTC members who have committed to antibody testing to offer up capacity for antigen testing suddenly. There’s been no mention of a rollout of large scale antibody testing despite it being previously declared as a game changer. Moonshot is all about antigen testing and Sir Al directly referenced the 120m that the govt have outlined. The best opportunity for our new fwiends in ODX will be as a manufacturing partner of Awacta.
