The technology is incredible. As is often the case, the Q&A is more interesting as it’s off script. The first question in three parts was a cracker, especially now with hindsight. Little did they know then that the huge potential of diagnostics was about to be unleashed during a pandemic and completely remove any future funding concerns. He did mention the potential of separating the two halves of the business, so a takeover bid might only look at the diagnostics half of the business. Also interesting to hear that the major step is getting an affimer in a human. Then the up front payments become 10s of millions for the thousands of potential deals. Its an old presentation, so try not to laugh too hard at the timescales straight out of the Presalian calendar.... Definitely worth a look though.

Thanks, interesting thread. Someone made an interesting comment that it might affect younger age groups more readily. Given they’ve not had the vaccines yet, that could cause problems. Also, even if it spreads without much hospitalisation, it still encourages further mutations so any community spread really needs to be controlled.

Have a look at page 83. Equipment isn’t expected to be installed until end of May, assuming the availability of engineering support. We’ve now seen a contract with Toyota to get involved, so you can assume they’re behind. This GAD contract mentions Omega (professional stuff) and says that tech transfer will take 8-11 weeks.

Luckily there’s no TT to GAD, but it’ll be a while before all manufacturers are up to speed. No wonder PresAl wanted a CE mark to get on with selling in to Europe. At this rate, the govt won’t be manufacturing until August. OMFG... his lordship’s timetable was spot on after all :-O
