I also think the diluting 20% and then the SP recovering pretty much in the same day to where it sat before placement is astonishing. If the SP stays at 8p+ then I think this demostrates massive confidence.... or smacks of maniupulation. Either way I'm astounded...

I do wonder what info the people parting collectively with 3 million yozzers have access to that I don't.....

Interesting take this morning from teh chap who did the placing.

Says it was ridiculously over-subscribed and he had to call people to say they could only have 35% of what they asked for.

We didn't really need to do the placing, and were fully funded to where we need to get to. I guess even more so now.

I’ve got mixed feelings about the last two RNS’s.

Great we are funded, but 20% dilution is a bit punchy… half now and half later in the year surely would have been a better option.

That said some people are confident if they’ve shelled out nearly 3 million quid on something which is pretty much just an arbitration play….

Mark and Michael’s shares are also worth 20% less… and if they’ve shelled out think it makes sense in the long run then that gives some hope…

Trying to cling to the positives here, which may be naive… pretty annoyed… roll on SOC…

Only benefit of the delay is that gold has risen significantly since then so they probs need a bit of tipex….

I can only imagine the non release is strategic… or else, like @gall, I’d like to understand the event which caused its delay.

The Soc has now been dictated by the arbitration committee. Maybe that was always going to be the case but the arbitration formation was delayed..?

We have certainty now, pal… 65 or so days and that’ll be done.

To be fair, I did vote for it….

In the RNS it says arbitration process expected to take 3 years barring early settlement.. so I guess we’ve just funded ourselves for that.. although waiting until after Soc would have got us more for less… which makes me wonder….

In publicly setting us up for the long haul, I wonder if it’s part of a negotiating tactic to show India we ain’t thinking of quitting, so think about settling early….??? I wonder if LCM have said to do this as part of the strategy? Otherwise why put the expected timeframe in this RNS?

I think lcm are in for their fee on the issuance of award…

“The non?recourse Facility is to be used by IGPL in prosecuting its Treaty claims against India. If no award and/or recovery are achieved, then LCM Funding is not entitled to any repayment of the Facility. “

I think it would be very much in their interest to settle out of court as they would get their fee without any further work…

That it’s dropped them out of tr1 range (from 5.8% to under 5%, could there be significance of them dropping off that radar for any reason?

Happened at the start of the week… trading patterns make a bit more sense now.

Guess that explains the funny trading patterns recently where all the buys don’t shift the price.

No clue why they are selling a chunk now unless it’s a bit of profit taking.

Hopefully now the sp will reflect the sentiment…

From todays posts, I would defo accept an early settlement of 300mil, but would hope for more… I’m equally happy to see it out for a couple of year… been here since 2021 and have allocated that cash to the bottom drawer.

Was wondering on SOC though… I wonder if the compensation will be based on a backdated estimated DFS from time of expropriation to now using the expected amount mined x the spot rate each year, and then use todays gold price to value whatever is left….

I thought it was a pretty bolshy move, Makeabundle, and it gave me hope!!! Although we've been strung along a few times on this share (war obviously not helping that). I thought that the inbound dual listing was more the catlyst for the warrant extension than any expectation of peace.... The lifting of sanctions was always going to be longer than the three months, so I assumed it was another catalyst in play...

Let's wait and see in the next few weeks.

I personally think the BOD have a deal lined up and they are trying to secure a way to get the money out of Russia without too much of a haircut for being AIM listed, and Dual listing does this...
