I can see @gall’s point. But I see the positive that Owais has been in the data room in the auction process and this just underpins its size and value.

I think Owais is a red herring as our beef is with GoR, and their winning bidder has revealed its data room hand, confirming the basic figures that gor has sold the site on.

Any compensation is from GoR, not the company that mines the site.

It also says on that page that the mine today is worth 11 billion sterling….

That would be a a fair starting point to value our claim as that’s what is written on their website…. Bahahahahahahahaa.

Reckon there is close to zero percent chance of that. The political mess it would create would be like trying to get all the toothpaste back into a squeezed tube.

Let alone there is no way we would agree to give GoR 60+ percent of the haul….

I don’t think Panthera would have much appetite to mine it given the bad blood and would just want to flog it on…

On the positive side, given the recent sale, we’d be able to put a relatively accurate value on it…

It would be un unscramble-able mess… only option is to forge forward to a compensation agreement in my opinion…

@deck, that info was super interesting, and because of the press on it, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there was an early settlement.

@notime, I’m also French resident (the 73 isn’t related to my age or year of birth, more location!), but I have retained a foot in the uk because of work I do, and I hold an address and tax footprint there which allows me to continue to use Lloyds. At some point that will change so I’d be interested to hear how you get on here.

If PAT ever hits more than 2 quid it will be irrelevant as I’ll be giving up aim gambling and dipping my trotters in a Greek or Thai sea on a more perm basis!
