working out how much the GoR is going to get if Owais mines the area is eye watering… and clearly values the mine quite accurately for a best case scenario of Soc of multiple billions… I’m intrigued as to how much it is. I can’t see it being anywhere near as low as a solitary 1 billion, but am preparing for that scenario as that’s the only figure that hit the press…

The one thing to support an early settlement is that the license has been sold to someone keen to mine, create jobs and prosperity to the area, and take advantage of record gold prices...with a massive kickback to the govt....

Kicking the can down the road might have its counterweight on this occasion, so i dont think early settlement is beyond the realms completely.

Mark explaining the reasoning… basically matches the earlier suggestion on here that he didn’t want traders manipulating things around SoC and secondly that he doesn’t need any further placing for “multiple years”… which reading between the lines is ever again, as we are funded beyond even the longest estimates of the arbitration timeframe.
