Interesting comments on here, nice to see the board busy with constructive opinions....lets hope the other board are equally as busy, as has been said, we will all know soon enough, it has been a long journey with this share and all the FI oilies, it would be nice to think there could still be a happy ending. I enjoy reading the views on here, so glad this board has largely got back to what it should be and not what it was a couple of years ago, I want to be positive but at the same time completely understand those who feel a little more cautious....all in the nature of investing.

Ive said many times before I now have no expectations one way or another, this is the ultimate all or nothing play, and that has been the case for some considerable time, nothing has changed.

Bridgedogg, all rkh have to do is find a sympathetic court in another country, like the uk, to enforce the judgement, italian assets in that country can then be seized.

Interesting comment from Geo, the only thing I would say is that January was a self imposed deadline, will it really matter if they miss it by a week or so. I dont know....just playing devils advocate a bit.

.....You are not the only one in that boat Anth. If they do a cash raise for an appraisal then I will average down again, we will see what next month brings, at this point the option I would prefer is for them to sell up.

By my reckoning it is coming up to 10 years since the Darwin discovery, if they havent been able to secure a partner in that time surely it is now time to put the company up for sale to the highest bidder.

Hi Anth and Gus, I probably shouldnt have reacted but I think its really distasteful when people like Rumblefish try to take cheap shots like that using people's shareholdings, even though it was hardly an effective cheap shot. I have no interest in how many shares any PI holds, as border investors we are all here hoping for the same thing , or should be. All the best.

Rumblefish, just saw your last comment and thought it was so funny I just had to reply, although my account has you filtered I was using another device at the time and not logged in. If Gus holds 7m shares that is clearly his conscious choice, whether it proves to be correct or not remains to be seen, you on the other hand made an incorrect statement borne out of ignorance of the subject on which your were commenting, so when you ask who looks the "more stupid" as you put it, the answer is you......there is no contest.

Hi Geochem, would be interested to know how you come to your valuation, not because I have the knowledge to argue with it, I am genuinely interested. You are right historically it is the Argentina situation which has held this back, shell were once rumoured to be interested at two pounds a share, but that is almost a decade ago, a lot has changed since then.

GUS, I sincerely hope you are right about there being no need for share dilution, we will all find out soon, as I have said before I will hold what I have here to the end.
