On another note pretty ordinary set of results from Harbour, they had reduced their debt 200m in a little over 2 months, only another 100m since, what happened to the 220k bpd, oh yes Tony Durrant said that didnt he....my bad.

I would read the news this morning on Harbour and sealion before doing that.

Look at the edison reviews on rkh, im sure they estimate from the then sp what the market viewed as the percentage likelihood of sealion proceeding, which from memory was somewhere around 15 to 20%, as for the rise in the oil price, you ask if I dont think that may change the markets view.....well it hasnt yet has it, as evidenced by the sp so you have answered your own question. I said I disagreed with your post, and said why, nothing more, how F...ing dare you try to tell me what sort of investor I am, who on earth do you think you are? I have read and re read every rns this company has issued for over 10 years and the same with RKH for the last 5. If you cannot respectfully disagree with someone then you are the one with the problem...........anyway you have been filtered.

With respect I dont feel it is surprising at all, the current market view is that the FI discoveries, including sealion, will become stranded assets and they are rated accordingly, this has been the case for sometime and there has, as yet, been no positive news to change that, if it ever changes there will be the mother of all rerates in all the FI shares.

I look in here regularly but all the points made have been made before, I am neither bullish or bearish having been here a long time, my attitude is whatever will be will be, but we are getting closer to the point of decision.

I'm playing devils advocate a bit but our fortune is effectively in Harbour's hands, what is to stop them saying they are shelving sealion, watching our sp tank then just picking up RKH on the cheap.

Whilst I will not sell till the outcome at least, I have a nagging feeling there is something strange going on here.

As others have said, the Italians already tried this and lost, and I remember the video of the italian lawyer several months ago moaning that the treaty judgement could be enforced by a sympathetic judge anywhere where there are Italian assets that can be seized, so EU law becomes irrelevant.

Am I being stupid or is the inference that a member state can do anything to a company belonging to another member state and they cannot seek redress under the ECT.

Hi anth, what worries me about ER is they seriously think we can just stop using oil and gas tomorrow, we cant, coal is I think a different argument but there is just no reasoning with these people, all they are interetested in is forcing their own agenda.

Just occurred to me, we are soon due what will no doubt be another bland, meaningless update.

I am no expert, but for me it keeps on coming back to the fact that if RKH had lost outright I dont see why it would have taken this long to decide that, to me the difficult thing is quantum, if RKH do not get anything I will be surprised, but as I say I am no expert

.....and so the wait goes on, those expecting an update from RKH are I think misguided, I take it as a good sign that there has not been one, suggests to me there are legal negotiations going on which they are prohibited from revealing. If RKH had just lost there would be no reason for a delay.

....just to add, if RKH get a good payout I would expect a boost here on better FI sentiment alone.
