Ive got several oil shares and have done for years, and for the first time I am considering getting out of all of them, I fully expect BP to report in three weeks that they are making massive profits, yet the sp will barely move, as for here was it edison who estimated a 25m net award might be worth 10p on the sp.....sorry but with sentiment the way it is I feel unless the award is truly massive we are going to be badly disappointed. No special expertise...just my opinion. DYOR.

Why would any oil major choose to get involved in Argentina after what they did to Repsol a few years back, anyway Harbour dont have any operations in the region for them to sanction .

I also hold BP, and if you had told me 16 months ago oil would be over 75 dollars but the BP sp would still be barely over 3 pounds I would have struggled to believe it. The climate groups appear to be completely ignoring the fact that we still need oil for many things and will continue to do so, but because of the bad press and starving of investment we are possibly sleepwalking into a huge supply crunch. What then, will countries open up coal fired power stations again with cheap open cast coal to keep the lights on?

I hold here and will continue to do so, but I have to say as a longterm holder I now feel it is more likely than not that the FIs will never be developed, I will not sell because the prospect of selling after all this time and then seeing this fly would be more painful than losing my investment entirely which in fact wrote I off a while ago. I agree with many that the behaviour of the directors of this company has been, whilst not illegal, certainly morally questionable and even if it is developed I would not be surprised if it is to the benefit of others and not the current RKH private shareholders. I am not trying to deramp, I have no special expertise in this field and this is just my gut feel....I would love it if someone can persuade me the outlook is more positive.

Hello gus, still holding and hoping, although with what degree of confidence I sometimes question. More concerning news recently that the state of the art missile defence system due to replace the antiquated Rapier system in the islands has been delayed. Hopefully this is not a modern HMS Endurance moment.

If RKH gets a decent award and sealion is sanctioned this will undoubtedly, rightly or wrongly get a decent lift on speculation, but the cash problem does not go away for existing shareholders. I had hoped the board might be open to bids but it seems they want to keep going, the only question appears to be how much they will try to raise.
