Even with the best possible outcome and the Ukraine war ends today the West's attitude to russian energy supplies has fundamentally changed for years, or until Putin is no longer there, that is the biggest positive for places like the Falklands that I can remember.

I agree Anth, I think the prospects for development are better than at any time since before the oil price crash of 2014.....I am wondering if the market is slowly catching on to that fact.

The remoteness of the FIs would up until 10 days ago have been viewed as a disadvantage, this is just one thing that has been turned on its head, having a supply source away from areas of potential serious conflict, I dont view Argentina as serious in the same sense as Russia or China, where even the supply lines are well away from areas of potential serious conflict is now a distinct advantage.
