One thing I am convinced of, if it doesnt happen now for the Falklands then it never will. As for argentina, yes it limits our farm in alternatuves but militarily I dont believe there is a real threat, in the last six months a new anti aircraft and anti missile system called sky sabre has been deployed there, it is state of the art and light years ahead of anything the argentinians have to counter it.

Next two things, both possibly next week, confirmation of the take up, at general meeting followed by annual results which should include an update on farm in progress .....remember we had a new investor take 3% in January, and that was before the world changed with Ukraine, could be interesting.

Intoodeep, my barclays account shows the amount of my entitlement that I am taking up, and separately the number of excess shares I have asked for, as Mr Bond says, they have not yet been allocated, there is no guarantee I will get what I have asked for.

Well no problem with excess on barclays....suggest you contact them.

We are still in the acceptance and take up stage, new shares have yet to be issued, all we are doing at present is responding to the company telling them how many new shares we would like out of our entitlement.

According to the rns about the rights issue there is a general meeting on 6th April.

As a rule I am quite happy to read people's opinions on here, it doesnt automatically follow that you have to agree with the opinion. That only changes if I feel people are being deliberately obtuse or disingenuous.....and I have filtered several people in the past on that basis.

.....from memory the advice in the rns is that you should accept by the 29th rather than wait till the last day.

Took up mine today, whilst it remains the case that nothing is certain it strikes me that if the board really wanted to screw existing holders the cash raise would have been far worse than this, the fact it is a limited amount to keep the lights on for 12 to 18 months to me is telling.....just my opinion.

The MMs will buy them, if you really do want rid of them its easy.

Shorn, the board has never as far as I am aware, revealed the specifics of any potential partner, but from what has happened recently in world politics and with the oil and gas prices it is likely that there will have been some renewed interest in a farm in, at least that is what many of us on here think....it is that which we are waiting to find out.

A few more weeks till an update, we will find out then how much interest has been rekindled.
