Think we have just had that drift and expect steady upwards movement now. Having waited this long, am sure that the LOG admin team will hold like most of us until first gas. Whenever they do begin a measured sell, this will throw up yet another Buying opportunity is the way I read it.

edgar - we've been there before and just prefer to keep our feet on the ground. If it exceeds forecasts, then crack one open - even two!

As we are in forecasting mood and I am some way down the trail, I would hazard a punt at 35p end of 2021 and 45p Jan/Feb '22 - then with my incredibly powerful telescope around 65p end of 2022 with first dividend in sight............. Very good move score, and from an entry perspective the current level of SP is a surprise and an opportunity to build a strong position for the imminent ground-breaking news. All the positives that you refer to have been put in place over a number of turbulent years for LTHs - doesn't seem so long ago that we were scooping them up at 10-12p with a show of faith that many derided at the time. Top-up time for me now as logic and intuition dictates that this must be close to the end of the dip?

mole - "odd to observe" is about right, and whilst I agree that the downside risk is low, I would put the upside a lot higher than "modest". As you say, when you look around on AIM and see unsubstantiated and underfunded companies flying along with rising SPs, it is all unfathionable to the logical mind. I prefer score's positive view that once gas and income are flowing this could nearly double in Q1 2022.

scored - that's what we all think, and while it is flattening out now, surely a great buying opportunity in a sector where the demand for fresh supply is so obvious.

There seems to be a lack of understanding of the skills of the PR practitioner in the financial world. Its about auto suggestion - not dictation - and helping to round out a story, which is appreciated by journos in general. As such, there are two huge stories in today's DT and other financial organs - and timing is another factor which is of the essence.

Strong point being made about the necessity to enable the continuing use of North Sea oil and gas as a bridge energy supply route before renewables kick in - with BP under examination in particular for the intended drilling of the Cambo field. Another opportunity passed by for the imminent arrival of new gas supplies from IOG to be featured by these opinion -forming writers within their stories!
