mole - we've done the hard yards when determinedly averaging down, so this is one to enjoy now. Don't blame you for widening your portfolio - surely a sensible policy, and one which I will need to pursue myself in the near future.

Trust - this burst I would say is very definitely about new investors catching on. The much talked about "herd" has finally arrived. News, whatever the weight, will have another effect when it comes.

Surely was mole - but did you take advantage of the correction?

I did forecast when the placing was announced last week that the SP would be on its way to the 30p mark this week - just did not expect that to happen quite so quickly. We are very definitely "out there" now with a growing army of new investors paying attention.

edgar - yes its low, but its way above the myopic forecasts of the Brokers who should know better however cautious they choose to be. I prefer your estimates as closer to reality and certainly brings into focus the placing figure to be enjoyed by the City big hitters when trading takes place tomorrow!

edgar - no-one wants to get too carried away, and mole's point about a likely levelling down of gas prices is worthy of attention. However, I agree that the 40p forecast is looking way out of date, and a good result for estimations at Blythe and the plan for future work in Phases 2 and 3 may prove the point.

we've had the bounceback as predicted from yesterday's early correction, which was an all too brief buying opportunity. With the placing quickly oversubscribed and next week's trading issue soaked up by iis, us poor relations aka PIs will have to pay yet more and I reckon the squeeze will carry us faster towards the 30p marker. Some news on flow rates and a more definite forecast for first gas should take us to the next level. GLA and a nice sunny weekend to All!

mole - these factors will always grate with me too, but that will never change the system and the pecking order. I tend to rely on gut feeling allied closely to full company knowledge and sensitivity to outside influences - which again, are beyond our control. Hence my early entry today for top-up after the correction, and always expecting the bounce back once the facts have sunk into the market. We are slightly diluted, but the overall direction of the tide will overcome that in spades. All imho!

Endorsed MCH! Currently 26.51 for 10k on the Bid with HL, so why this board keeps it at one full penny lower is beyond me. 16.875p to Buy, so the actual spread is reasonable.

mole - it will be oversubscribed for sure, and when the MMs did what they always do with a placing and clipped us, I got my retaliation in first at just above mates rates. I see that we are bouncing back already and no surprise there, whilst LOG admin remaining cool is another plus imho. A good flow test will also be useful.

Well explained edgar, GG and others. It pays to read these RNS bulletins thoroughly and understand the motives. And if MCH is right, this will quickly look like a mere blip on the ladder. With all the wider media concern for gas suppliers and consumers, I have not spotted one word about the actual benefit that will shortly accrue from a "gas producer" - and a UK based one at that!

block - you have the current figures for share issue, and if I can focus on the approximate time of your sell-out some 3 years ago I would say that allowing for a number of issues in lieu of salaries and contractor fees, there were around 425m shares in issue at that stage. We did actually touch 34p in the summer of 2018, but I was not prescient enough to sell any! Thanks to Vista for sparking off a veritable avalanche of posts - and for all the stats on forecast profitability from our regulars such as GG et al. We are bubbling under at present, but even our reluctant MMs will have to mark this up very soon.

The spread has struck again! Plenty of Buys at the top price 28p and 27.41 paid on the Bid for a late trade, so why on earth they have stuck to 26.5p is beyond me.

With the last few trades all in excess of 27p, fairly obvious that most of the day trades at lower levels were Buys. Mainly modest sized tranches, but plenty of them and typical PI investors. GLA!

Agree denis that it makes little difference to LTHs and those familiar with the story - but still misleading to the potential investor who only pays a swift visit to survey the trends. A sensible adjustment to the spread would help.

Once again, the advertised spread gives a totally misleading picture of trades. As you can freely buy at 26.66 - and have just topped up at this rate - the sea of red on this board should be exclusively blue, with the exception of 1 solitary trade for 1500 shares! There may be a large Sell order causing this - we shall see by the close of play.

is distorting the trade readings. I have topped up twice at 26.99 - both trades listed in red, as well as another 200k at the same level. So in spite of a natural bout of profit taking after such a lively week, I reckon we are about even stephen on Buy/Sell at half-time!

"atrocious strategic decisions" - such as? Difficult circumstances has forced their hand over a certain period - and once vital funding via the BH company was achieved, they have steered the ship pretty well in my view - and as an LTH I was delighted that the cheeky 20p bid was swiftly rejected.
