If you take the emotions out of the reasoning and sit back and have look at it as if you were not invested , say a neighbour , work colleague or son/daughter told you they had invested in a company that was a penny fintech start up very high risk with no proof of concept and no revenue generated , you might be saying to them you fkin idiot - harsh reality is none of us probably sought advice about investing from a professional , if we had they would probably advise against investing in syme , we all should know there are no guarantees or dead certs with investments , there are plenty of warnings out there and well known phrases such as “ only invest what you can and are prepared to lose “ it’s tough to take but the reality is most invested on the hype and any court action wouldn’t even make it to the 1st stage of getting anywhere near a court room
1. Very High risk investment
2. None or very few sought advice before investing
3. “ ready to fly “ comment should have been taken with a pinch of salt - it was never in an RNS and was said in a proactive interview
That’s just for starters , most of us invested before poc and before “ready to fly” comment , some may have topped up because of ready to fly comment but I don’t believe anyone invested purely on that statement alone , if they did it, how ever harsh it may sound it was a silly thing to do , I know some went out and got bank loans to top up and someone put all their house money in - over 300k - in the cold light of day we all bought in on the hype - I accept investing is high risk in any company but even more so in a penny fintech start up with absolutely no revenue or poc - that’s a very risky strategy - given all of the above if it wasn’t you invested and it was a friend we’ve got to be honest with ourselves and we would be saying to them “ what were you thinking “ that’s the harsh reality as bitter as it is to swallow we have to accept and own our mistakes - it’s not easy to make large sums of money overnight and if investing was guaranteed and easy to do no one would have a job and be working for a living we would all be investors - we are where we are and time will tell if our decision to invest will be rewarded - I’m not trying to be smart or wind people up just giving my honest opinion about the situation we find ourselves in - I’m still positive and topping up because despite all the aforementioned we now have poc and I do think AZ will pull it all together albeit at a slower pace than we would hope for - good luck and best wishes to us all 🙏🤞
