Overall we seem quite a positive bunch 😊. The average of everyone’s guess (excluding mystic’s £25…) is 2.69. I'm sure Turkish airlines will get over the line - just a bit odd (and slightly worrying) that they didn't announce it yesterday.

I had a quick look at the labour party's stance on SMR - they're all for it from what I can see - so whoever wins next years GE will be backing SMR's.

Whatever happened to the 355 new planes for Turkish airlines?? I thought it was nailed on that this would be announced yesterday?

Also, does anyone know what the latest timeline is for SMR announcements regarding the UK? Various news stories and reports I've read in recent months seem to give rather conflicting timescales?

I've got to agree with Marketduster. Call out the pigeon when he lies through his teeth but leave the spelling and grammar alone - I can assure you he won't be taking remedial english lessons on the back of your harrassment. What song title best reflects tomorrows SP movements?

Although I still think tomorrow could be a collation of good news stories which will give us a warm glow rather than an electric shock I'm going to stick my neck out and go for "Supersonic"....

I'm not expecting any bombshells tomorrow - I'm glad we've moved away from the burning platform rhetoric and have settled into safer, calmer waters. Possibly an update on financials - which may be better than expected. Slightly better than expected flying hours would be nice. A PR and marketing campaign to deliver the SMR contract to a British firm and keep the money in the British economy? An announcement of the return of dividends - personally if its going to be 0.19% I'd prefer RR to keep the money and pay opff their remaining debt quicker. Generally speaking I'm hoping tomorrow will be a smattering of good news and business as usual kind of day. Not forgetting the first transatlantic flight running solely on SAF will occur tomorrow. Maybe the Turkish airlines deal (that's gone quiet hasn't it). Lots to be positive about without earth shattering news.

I'm afraid I just find it vulgar Charley - The fact that "we don't know each other" gives some posters even more reason / temptation to exagerate their holdings. I find the whole "look how many shares I've got" very sad. It's a personal opinion and possibly a throw back to my upbringing where I was taught to never show off / brag. Each to their own.

Just for the record mine's ten inches but you'll never know as we'll never meet :-)
