What is interesting is that this recent rally, most likely initiated by Swanny, has not been sold into (at least not yet).

It'll be interesting to see if we can hold/continue in the run up to the end of the year.

Once the IML is back everything 'should' fall into place - still not there.

I hear you Swamp, but a commercially minded CFO is worth their weight in gold and frankly given we're a producer it beggars belief we don't have a functioning finance team - If I was looking to provide a finance package it would be one of me prerequisites.

It takes me literally 4 mins, tops, each year to do my confirmation statement.

This is just shoddy incompetence. Frankly, I'm now beginning to think the amateur manner in way this company run is the major risk here. RM should step aside as CEO, be the COO, recruit a decent CEO & CFO or a combination thereof.

Not sure why we've seen a sudden flurry on volume today. But if you follow the wider resource sectors the last few days do feel as though some monies have been trickling back in - maybe we've finally reached a bottom in small resources caps on AIM - probably speaking too soon, but it's overdue for sure.

So I'm not totally convinced this is CMET specific rather than lets get some exposure to good quality Titanium resource.

Either way, if it's the start of something sustainable, great.

I would like to see Elke marketed separately. It would appear it is a much bigger prospect.

Unless something very unforeseen I doubt the partner will walk. Sounds like the potential JV partner has been introduced to Shell Traders and NSTA.

Hoping the probability of a walkaway is very small - but whether it'll all be concluded this month is another variable.

@richard - yes that's how I heard it, although it wasn't very clear - I assumed the extra 2 weeks started from end of Nov - quick in my books if we do get before y/end

Many things looking potentially good here - timing might be off, but it does look as though things are moving forward on all fronts - it's never as quick as retail want and managing those expectations is next to impossible.

Oil Price looks reasonable at the minute and although there's a possibility to move lower to the $60pbl I think given the geopolitical situation and the fact that we're now heading into winter in the Northern Hemisphere it is a strongly supported, almost bullish, scenario. If something happened MEast you could see the price of oil double on a spike.

So just as a fundamental play on 18.75% of upto 85mbbls of recoverable oil in one project with a strategic partner well down the due-diligence process and apparently the NSTA supportive it's looking pretty good here, even given the recent rise.

The heck with investing in mining/exploration companies, looking at these financing terms I wanna invest in the financing company!

Listening to this latest podcast....christ it's frustrating to listen to the same ole rhetoric repeated with no hard new news to back up all the hyperbole.

Given the flow of funds today, after yesterday's excellent presentation from GM, there is a logical correlation that a lot of this new money today is from investors with longer term time horizons that the traders we had a couple of weeks ago - good base being built at these levels.

And YES OF COURSE it's a ridiculous valuation - but as those key milestones are achieved & CONFIRMED a sustainable rerate will kick in.

Trying to predict SP action is mad, especially given our variables: AIM, Sri Lanka etc.

But I am enjoying the change (albeit it thus far) in the company's attitude to retail (notably since MFs departure) is encouraging and I enjoyed the Chairman's update yesterday.

I would expect we might gradually drift back to the 5p region and probably stay there awaiting confirmed news on JV and then it's a matter IF NEW investment can be attracted on the back of that detail.

I am encouraged by the fact the construction may start mid 2024 and I think once we're in that phase (likely to be relatively short compared to other mining operations) we will see the share attract sustained upward support.
