Clearly, negotiations fell apart - who knows from which side it was motivated, but I suspect the Aussie OG LTHs did not want to be diluted out of the project under the terms of the MOU, so stumped up the cash to buy CMET more time. Now that the IMLs are back in our hands there will be more options out there for the product - personally I would like to see more exploration quick-like to expand the resource significantly and keep up our grades - that will open many doors when it comes to offtakers that're thinking long term supply.

clearly this was pretty well known in the market hence why we were never able to stay north of 5p for any length of time.

Just such a solid share. Great institutional shareholders. Let's just hope the results continue to support the share price. Doesn't detract that we'll shortly be a gold producer too.

@bebeto - I have to agree. I'm afraid given the level of basic incompetence running this company when they can't even meet the basic regulatory requirements (which aren't difficult) I've pretty much little or no faith left in the current mgt team.

When/if we are reactivated on the exchange, if there isn't an immediate sell-off, I'll be looking to implement an exit strategy - there is nothing to indicate we won't be suspended yet again in 2024 - unbelievable. The directors should all be suspended.

Given the level of de-risking that it's undergone and the upcoming newsflow this is definitely in the BUY territory for me - of course what the market thinks...

Relistened to last interview with HA, and decided this is worth a top up for a Q1 flutter.

Having been through the Sri Lanka debacle over the last few years a debt default in Ethiopia doesn't overly phase me.

Everything seems to be aligning here, but I can understand LTHs scepticism.

I'm failing to understand the fuss here about this financing. To say it's common to see small companies take on a strategic partner to explore or develop or construct a mine and give up the vast majority of the project in order to secure a free carry to production. These deals are everywhere, with remaining % can be anywhere from 40% and below.

ORCA has just done for 18.75%, CGNR have one that'll eventually reduce them to about 40%. This is completely common. The issue here is that it's unclear what the remaining % of the project remains with the current CMET shareholders.

@Michael I agree - always good sign to see insider buying, and I would imagine OF being a reasonably young guys probably not a multi-millionaire so it's good to see him putting his hard-earned in here.

The Nevada tenement is looking very good for multi-plays and if they continue to prove it up at this rate I can't imagine we'll be stuck at this market cap for long given the reasonably small number of shares in free-float.

I had the finger hovering over CMET & GMET today but decided to add to my holdings here - existing strategic resource and the other plays.

If we land US funding to develop up the Tungsten 2024 could be truly transformational.

XEL = no idea about time line, it really depends on how much of the nitty gritty they've done.

on the profit split - okay there's a 50-50% between the companies - but don't forget LB Group will have a substantial holding in CMET also by then so in effect they'll end up with substantially more than 50% of the profit - the detail of the JV we don't know but these clauses are negotiated and renegotiated and can effectively give away everything unless CMET get it right, which is why I'd prefer to see them take their time and get it right rather than rushing into something for the sake of a headline.

You never know... the Aussie whales could have seen this massive dilution heading their way, pumped in the cash now, telling management...get drilling, expand the resource, increase MCAP so our % holdings aren't reduced to next-to-nothing...

I mean CMET have been working on this JV for years and years they'd better have their ducks in a row on this one.

Right now we have a non-binding MOU - I would expect the lawyers to be arguing out all this fine print before it's actually signed which is why I never expected it to be signed this year, Signing deadline could easily go to end of March 2024.
