@Jersey that's all well and good, and I really hope it unfolds as described, but none of that can even start until we get the ruddy suspension lift. We need changes in the executives running this company there's a fundamental lack of basic skills to running a public company.

Would just like to see GCAT execute simple administrative processes before I'd have faith in them taking advantage of a potentially rocketing gold price.

It's coming to the end of Tax Loss season in the USA so any US based investors maybe locking in some very decent losses on this one - could continue for another 2 weeks.

Doesn't appear to be any leaks judging by the SP so impossible to tell. I generally do not like it when companies leave it until the 11th hour to announce - usually not good news, but the SP has ticked up slightly not sold off - really cannot tell.

I can't remember the exact details of the jv but usually it's not just a spend amount but also a minimum meterage in drilling.

Prof C constantly reiterates that CGNR are the operators, in which case, IF that is the case, I would expect them to be directing operations in the most effective manner - though I agree I'm scratching my head after a lacklustre 2023.

Bloomberg already has the Feb Contract at $2,054, intra-day of course not yet a closing price.

So they've already said there will be more dilution in Q1 2024 with the hoped for Australian listing - I think (unless the lithium price suddenly rallies back to $70k) that is going to keep a lid on share price action.

Can't see this going anywhere for the foreseeable, but then given what they've been saying I didn't think it would do much until mid-2024 anyway. Did not see this decline however, and glad I held off ...because I didn't think there was much point getting in before April/May '24, market fundamentals permitting.

If people feel, at this stage, they're about to lose a lot of money...sell half your holding, then you'll only lose half the amount.

market is not selling off...yet. All that said if we do run to the deadline I expect there may be a deadline extension until say end of January, or of course the alternative it just doesn't happen.

Given the potential partner has been visiting the various ORCA stakeholders....Shell, NSTA... I think they are demonstrating a seriousness to do this deal. But as we all know, these things usually take longer than anticipated.

market (sp action) is currently telling it thinks the deal is still on...

I think the price action was very supportive yesterday with decent buying AND selling, indicating more longs at higher level. SO pretty supportive I'd say.

I can hear the ProfC response now - same as before...
