I was watching something the other day on lithium mining and the various forms and the commentator made the point that those 'in' the industry are investing in traditional forms of extraction/production whilst those outside are investing in methods like DLE.

I wonder what'll it'll take for some of the industry 'insider' money to start to move into our technique and if it'll just take regulatory/cultural change within end users or even countries (e.g. like in Chile) dictating future production techniques.

Obviously we're all long, so there's hope and unconscious (maybe not that unconscious) bias in our predictions, but I have to believe if there was a fundamental issue or talks had broken down we'd have known by now. Therefore, I have to assume, like others, the documentation is just taking that amount of time, having been there this is believable but it's bad time management.

Okay this surprised me - good to see an existing shareholder stumping up the cash but it does tell, as I hypothesised, that the JV signing is more than weeks away.

I know I've experienced PE guys typically try to change things at the 11th hour (in their favour obviously) thinking the business will just agree to get the thing over the line.

Lots of shenanigans in these situations, but to be fair to the oil sector they are not usually such bad actors.

Some great news coming out of REE but unfortunately, because we all know there's a raise coming I don't see the SP reacting until it's out of the way. potentially massive dilution given the current SP, depending how much they want to raise.

It is encouraging the share price has more or less held up, given how close we're getting to the deadline here. Of course it's also important to remember this isn't a one project company, with a potentially much bigger project starting to come into view.

I think any serious selling, if holders decide to de-risk, will see this fall away - ORCA should have issued a progress RNS if NTSA agreed extension - I can only assume that they didn't refuse it, otherwise ORCA would have had to issue an RNS.

Given the state of play here, I would have thought ORCA know whether NSTA have granted the extension for one week - would have expected them to inform the market.

If no RNS by tomorrow morning will have to start reducing exposure here I think.

So many longs from 1-2p level I expect to see a lot of profit-bagging above 5p ahead of year end. Hopefully, new buying enters to soak it up.

Hey @justone good to see you here too. Things are looking cautiously optimistic here, although the market may be a little jaded with KEFI, no doubt that'll change with the macro and location specific variables progressing.

Between this and our Titanium play, in #CMET in SL, 2024 is looking like a potentially bumper year, finally.

Polio I'm talking about the legal documentation, this takes a lot longer than people realise.

I'd be very surprised if that happened this year.

This deal isn't of such significance to LG that their lawyers will be working weekends. And frankly having been here years I haven't seen any evidence that anyone at CMET ever works weekends.

What I would like to see between now and the formal signed JV announcement would be a gradual reclamation of the 10p share price.

I think the thing that's going to take time with the JV is finalising the documentation. I doubt LG has wasted much time on this yet, as there was no point without the IML being reinstated.

This stage can take like 3 months once the lawyers are involved so I'm not expecting the JV finalisation until 2024. Would be over the moon if I am wrong.
