SH - to be totally honest I can’t remember. It could have been at the AGM, or alternatively in an email reply to some queries.

But that was definitely his opinion at the time (he stressed, however, that it was merely his own guess and Navitas had not communicated that to him).

It makes sense to me though, and might suit Rockhopper if we can get a favourable annulment outcome in the meantime (fingers crossed).

I suspect Moody is right and Navitas will wait until Shenandoah is on stream before project sanction. So probably H2 2025 with first oil in 2027 if all goes to plan. Just my thoughts.

The OM annulment outcome should be known before then, and hopefully with a positive result will be a bit of a catalyst in the short term, alongside news of progress on the EIS & FDP.

Classic AIM. Absolute robbery and Majid et al should be ashamed of themselves.

Hang on a minute. Longboat raised £45m from shareholders for its Norwegian adventure and sold it for £2m. 95.6% value destruction. What an absolute shambles. I reckon they’ve done the dirty because Kveikje alone must have been worth more than that.

I hope some of you lot are right about the Malaysian assets - I’m very glad to see the back of Helge Hammer but a bit concerned that Nick Ingrassia remains involved with the new company. He orchestrated the failed exploration programme.

All I can say is thank goodness for the common sense show by the FIG.

The worst thing is there still isn’t even a hint of a forthcoming deal in Norway. Management here really have been appalling from the start so I suppose this was to be expected.

Ultimately though I think Labour will support the FIG’s right to make their own decisions.

Any thoughts on whether the General Election might slow things down? Hopefully it shouldn’t make too much of a difference but I was sort of hoping Navitas might get to FID before Labour took over.
