Looks like you have been busy with your ETFs. Yes it looks interesting tomorrow with a quick bounce back on the cards. Vod annual figures out on Monday so not long to wait, and then a gradual rise to 150 would be nice before ex-div, as you say. Vantage towers are up to nearly e27 so all to the good.
I will get itchy quite soon as I have no confidence in a sustained rise post ex-div, but then what do I know. I'm concerned about all those Musk satellites and new tech bringing their price down.
Just thought you might like to know that I have saved the planet and you can all carry on your business with no worries, as my ground source heat pump was switched on earlier today (Thursday). Only 12 months after the boreholes were drilled, but finally got warm rads and floors, hooray. Water coming out of the ground at 10.4 degrees C so great news as it means the efficiency will be better than anticipated.

I sold out at around 139p and thought that's it I have missed out, but just bought back this morning at 136.3p to my great surprise, and already in profit again.

I bought Vod at 165 but managed to get my break-even down to much lower than that through day trading, and I am now in profit. Now that I know more about the business, I think it has serious headwinds as it is a basic utility and there is serious competition coming up from these new satellites that will eventually not need towers any more. So as a LTH it is seriously problematic.
BT is selling its "sport" foray into entertainment, and Vod does not have the culture to take on anyone in that sector. So it is stuck in potentially a seriously declining part of the business. It will be the applications through 5G that will make the money, not the 5G providers.
I am down to my last few shares in Vod, having sold some this morning at 136.5, and the rest will go when it does a little rally before or shortly after the results in May.

What is your target or break-even price?

Hello Daniel. I have so few Vod shares left and so busy on other things that I am just holding on for a while for 1.40 just for the hell of it. Regret stopping day trading but can't spread myself too thinly.

It's a highly-indebted utility in a competitive market, too large to be taken over not just on account of size but for competitive reasons. It's unlikely to develop a killer new product, and it could succumb to new technology unless it works really hard.
If Vod manages to stabilise or increase its income, then it may rise significantly, I would be happy with 1.60 later this year. If it doesn't, or tries to make an unwise acquisition, we will all be sorry.

I have just heard from Vodafone today that my plan will increase by RPI 1.4% from April this year, so a bit late but there you are.
That means an extra 29p per month to add to their revenue. I await the rise in the sp with eager anticipation.

Hello, well Vod is a utility stock with (unless you know otherwise) no new products coming onstream, or if they are, there will be fierce competition. And then there are the debts. On that basis, the best we can get is a re-assessment to get the sp growing. Increased revenue would be a help as well, of course.

We could really do with a Vodafone insider to get us some useful stuff on these prospective earnings. Come back Mikey, all is forgiven!
