At least it is keeping up with the FTSE this morning, good or bad. Been buying on the way down according to my strategy, now cash-skint as it has fallen far more/longer than I expected. Hope it will start going up again now. I need 128.83 to break even on the average of my latest purchased tranches, but 125.70 for the cheapest tranche bought.

I wonder if land-based communications can compete against Elon Musk's satellite system, it seems to be getting good reviews at insanely fast broadband speeds.

Hi CSDI. Good to hear from you again. I'm surprised at Vod's fall, but then when you go out to sea there is no point in complaining about the weather, just prepare for it. I think that Vod is worth more than it is now, so this little dip was unexpected. Reckon it will bounce back a bit soon. Happy if it gets to 131 some time this week.
Given the £ is stronger against dollar and euro, Vod is not doing too badly.

According to Martin Lewis, Sky are hiking their broadband, phone and TV packages. So are BT. With so many introductory deals, it's hard to work out where prices are heading though. Sim-only packages seem to be falling or is that my imagination?

SP holding up well today despite strengthening £ against dollar and euro, but not keeping up with the FTSE.

Sold some shares at 135.71, tomorrow will show whether that was a good move or no.

It's not difficult to get Office Pro 2019 for under £20. I'm on 2016 which I probably paid around that amount a couple of years ago when I decided to retire my 2003 version that I got for a £1. I know £20 is a lot more than £1, but there you go, it must be something to do with supply and demand. If only I had read your post, it could have saved me all that money :(

That's useful to know. I use Excel and have a dashboard sheet with upcoming income and bills to be paid, open most of the time I am in the office, and I manually enter all the info you mention in a corner of this sheet when I am doodling. Might have a look at Gsheets later, but I really am into Excel.

Narky, I don't think it's arbitrage, it's just another overnight swing.
I have noticed big differences before when the Nas was up at close and London opened sharply lower the next day. The closing Nas is clearly a guide, but not infallible. London investors clearly have a mind of their own.
When there are Vod announcements that could affect the sp, I think they are early before London opens, but that was not the case today.
All the more surprising as the £ is lower today against the $ and euro, which should support VOD to some extent.

Yeah it was me. I wanted it to dip to 131.5 but only managed 132, so not achieved my goal. Must try harder next time.
