What would that achieve other than a further hit to the share price [ as if it is not low enough already! ]
When you invest in this type of company you are at the mercy of the Experts who give advise as to where to drill to get the best chance to get commercial amounts of gas and oil.
Having said that we all know this is high risk / high reward .
Perhaps the current tactic is not to say that the drilling has completed until the testing has been done because at the end of the day its all about the flow rate .

Taking share options in lieu of salary and bonus payment is nornally seen as a vote of confidence but we know that this has all been done before with Block.
My take is that there is, at last, some good news to come and this drill could be the catalyst to propel the share price higher.

Shedulike- your thinking is the same as mine and i do think that the company has learned a lot from its previous drilling/ exploration programmes.
Being AIM the price will react very quickly to good or bad news and no news causes the usual drift lower.

Shedulike, to answer your question , i for one have been in and out of this share frow when AJW was posting and PH was giving interviews and the company raised a lot of money on the back of his bullish talk.
The overall problem seems to be a lot of water appearing in the drilling along with the oil/gas in the early days and even now the results recently have not been great.I am still here having re purchased at a much lower price than previously but am still down and would love to see a good result from the latest drill. We live in hope

Having read the recent posts regarding UT,s, it seems to me that as mere retail investors knowing the UT is of no value.
If you have bought BAT shares late in the day at say 3324 and the UT is say 3350 or 3300 so what?
When the market opens the next day even if you had a stop loss or purchase order in place it would be dealt at the opening price and not the previous days UT.
Can fellow investors confirm this or am i missing something?

Nazir 1234 I dont know if this helps but my broker [ h l ] has given the following info. :-
i share in haleon for every gsk share held
For every old gsk shares held there is a consolidation based on 4 gsk share for every 5 held and any that remain after this consolidation would be paid as a cash refund
eg if you had say 21 gsk shares you would get 16 new shares and a cash refund based on the extra 1 share

Morbox My take [ fwiw ] is that all motorists must have insurance and if there is price inflation on repairs etc. then all insurers will have to put up premiums to survive .
When the dust settles we should see a gradual rise in the share price as the dividend date nears

Should Putin decide to invade Ukraine i cant see Poly gaining in value in the short term.
Playing war games is one thing but imperialist ambitions is another .As regards the comment that Putin does not want to lose face , why build up troops in the first place ?
A good outcome would be to withdraw troops and confirm [ again ] that it has no intentions to invade Ukraine and this was all a training exercise

Although civil unrest is not good , it is unlikely that Poly is directly affected as they would probably need to issue an RNS to that effect if their mining activity were badly affected .
It would be good pr to confirm this as Gavster -NBC has suggested.

After a poor year in 2021 when Gold fell by 5% we could see a comeback this year with inflation on the rise and a probable series of small interest rate hikes.
Poly is an efficiently run company and could sparkle this year .

Other companies are out there raking it in and having been in hare for a long period like many on this board i know that they have the product .
With all the missed deadlines and " soon " promises perhaps its time that the company took a good look at its commercial set up and procedures because at the end of the day its about investor confidence and the prospect of a financial return .

Can anyone offer a good reason why we have no Hua after all this time because at present the testing side of this business looks dead in the water in spite of the obvious demand

The purchase of Eua would make good commercial sense and NN could be the "one"
The price movement on this share reflects everything bad about Aim with obvious manipulation going on and an enquiry into this type of trading behaviour is long overdue.

With the interest rate rise and yearly demand peak it could be the right time to load up on Poly.

eldner59 You have the same dilemma as i and probably many on this board have.
My opinion is that the reaction to the single listing may have already taken place with some offloading being done and the market never seems to react the way logic dictates . The company will probably be better off financially after the delisting and the fundamentals look really good.i am no Guru but unless something dramatic happens i will be holding .

Driftking 27 It looks like BHP are going for a single listing for good commercial reasons and you could argue thet they are a hold for the short term and the share price has been on the rise lately.
When they delist from the FTSE fund managers specialising in FTSE 100 companies only will presumably have to sell holdings but the management at BHP will obviously have taken these issues into account.
RIO does not have these issues but pays a slightly lower divi [at present ] and has a slightly higher P/E I have not got any holdings in RIO but both companies look like sound investments says the man sitting on the fence!!

Auson Lets hope that sanctions are not needed but my opinion is that whereas gold would probably spike upwards in response to any geo political unrest there could be a backlash against any companies operaing in Russia.
Logically any gold rise should be good for POLY but we have seen that the share price over the last year has not always followed the gold upwards movement but it has gone down when gold goes down!

Omicron seems to be spreading like widfire but so far does not look like it is causing major health problems .
Whereas i accept that this could be bad for all testing companies surely if this variant becomes dominant on a world wide basis, wouldnt it be good if the effects are no worse than a common cold and we would not need to be dominated by a virus that causes hysteria , general panic and a massive vaccine programme
