Im in the MHRA taking their time camp but it would be great if an order or orders were announced along with the approval.
If the approval is announced on its own, within a couple of day many on this board would be fretting over orders !
Yesterdays news item --Innova are manufacturing in Wales and employing up to 300 people with a july target for test rollout. This in itself must surely imply that the need for testing is not going away.
Avacta will get the registration and as stated previously i can see an early june order announcement. We are all expecting an announcement on a daily basis but surely the rocket must launch when the sales are announced.
Mr008 There are many firms [ drug development companies, exploration companies and even tesla ] that have not provided an income to shareholders in the early years .
Surely the point of investing in these companies at an early stage is to hopefully make more money than investing in established businesses.
Mr008 The delay in monetization is very frustrating to say the least but Rome was not built in a day .
With Covid affecting thing to some extent and the technology is new and so third parties need a lot of convincing etc.
The Rns today shows that they are getting there on all fronts and the furure is looking good.
My opinion fwiw is that at this price the shares are a strong buy
Mikey279 I agree with you thinking but cannot see avacta just sitting back and waiting if they think the approval is late
They will be proactive
I still see the big news coming early June because the approval in itself will probably not put a rocket under the share price without big sales
Superbarnet [sorry for blip on post ] Fwiw my take is that as soon as an increase in inflation is hinted at these share will be badly affected in the very near term until things settle down and the long term value of the company comes back into focus.
Even if inflation starts to creep up i see a massive upside to these shares .
Luckybob23 Greetings to you and both your posts are interesting .
I realise the oversimplification in my post but whereas i have no arguement with you opinion i find it difficult to accept that market makers bother to post on bb,s.As they make their money by trades would they be that interested in using stooges ?
I am sure we both agree on market manipulation by mm,s [ especially on aim ] but to what extent , who knows ?
On a positive note lets hope that we are on a big time winner with syme !
Luckybob23 I dont think that most of the people on here are stooges but my take is that there are only 2 types of posters
The for or against the company .
The for are invested and some ramp but most give positive advice and where possible post information with a positive spin
The against [ probably shorters ] look for the negatives but can still be useful because they help the fors to take a more balanced view
I see the risks on this company greatly reduced by the purchase of trade flow [ assuming it goes through ] and am in the for camp
Cleverthoughts Fwiw my investment in this company is based on the following
Although the company is in exploration which by definition carries more risk than say an established company the following pluses influenced my investment;
1. Good strategy to mitigate risk
2. Diversified portfolio
3. Massive upside potential
4.Very good ceo who keeps investors up to date on a regular basis
What is there not to like !
RMR 1969 and Tigra
Thanks for you replies
Tigra you are in the manipulation camp whaich seems to me to be the only reason for the static share price.
RMR 1969 Good logical arguement but the sceptic in me still sees manipulation as the main reason for the share price .
I have asked the question before about mm,s reading bulletin boards .and if they do, or their researchers do then this has got to be a full on manipulation!
Tigra Most pro eua posters are with you on the massive dividend and although i think you are being bullish with the prediction i would obviously love it to be correct
What i and others on this board struggle with is why do we assume that the mm,s are so in the dark that they do not reflect the potential in the price.
Manipulation aside it seems incredulous that the price is so low
My view is more optimistic for the near term.
We have had some good news recently and the market can be cruel to microcaps especially with the inflation blip this week.
I respect views on charts but my feeling is a bounce back within the next few days .
Tigra It seems to me that you have given the most logical outcome for eua and the only question now is how much will the initial dividend be .
I dont see them giving a massive dividend as they will probably hold back monies for the future joint development.
My estimate is around the 20p per share mark which is still a very good payout with the ongoing development dividends to come.
We have moved from developing a product to having a product [ at last ]
The registration is probably little more than a paper filling exercise and then we can all see what this amazing technology can really do!
When countries decide to use lft testing as a control method our lft test stands head and shoulders above the other available lft tests [ at the moment ] and marketing the product with loads of sales to follow should be a rapid process
My forecast [ fwiw ] early june for a massive rerate
Giles Thank you for sharing your very valuable insights into investing.
I would like to add my comment [ fwiw ] that if you can research more companies it does not hurt to diversify rather than have all your eggs in one basket .
From the last testing update-- commercial roll out in Europe in May.
Regaardless of speculation of whether its us or not surely the main point is the European market must be huge and is for the whole test not just the affimer input
speranza sorry for delay in replying
My calculation [ very basic ] is 5million per month should give £3 per test nett to avacta x 12months = 15x3x12=180 million
At a very basic p/e of 10 this gives us 1.8 billion excluding licensing deals etc. etc.
Some would argue that a p/e of 10 is high but with the current market value of £665million i can see plenty of scope to see the price double.I also agee with PL75 that sales in excess of this will obviously make the price rocket [ and thats without the therapeutics side of the business ! ]
