Ended up emailing IG saying I would accept rights issue and the funds are in my IG account as the email they sent out was poor at explaining it, plus the contact info was wrong and I can't stomach the 100s of messages here to find what I need..
My IG account is showing for the last couple of days some additional separate RI shares but I can't act on them online so didn't know what else to do..
Don't know if they're mine or if they disappear after the date of closure or what

I had about 75k in RDSB pre 2020, I paid full whack for them over the past 5 years.
I didn't see any if this coming. I sold eventually at 14.00. so approximately 10.00 loss per share.
I have only 1.5k invested still and that was just because I forgot about it.
I have managed to recoup about half my losses with playing with AML, CCL, GFS, JDW etc..
Made more losses with RR and Ibstock!
But I was so relieved when I got out of Shell..
I, personally, do not view this ever recovering to previous levels. I also don't see this recovering to at a rate which would out compete other shares out there.
I am so glad I am not really involved with RDS anymore. In a professional capacity and as a shareholder..
I hope you all do well, but please consider if your money is in a good place here or if it could be somewhere better.

They were repatriated about a month ago. It was their home country of Mauritius holding up their repatriation and not the fault of the organisation.
They were not working onboard, they were out of contract, the organisation fed and housed them and eventually repatriated them at their expense as soon as Mauritius allowed. They were provided a subsistence wage whilst onboard, not a lot but something.
Remember, the organisation would have wanted them home from day one. And they tried. It was Mauritius stopping them.

Forgive my poor knowledge on the subject..
I was awarded automatically some shares through RI that appeared in my IG account.
Do they stay there until I sell them?
Also the value seems less than normal BA ones
What would you say is the recommended action for them? It's only a few hundred pounds..

On a side note - Tesla cars are complete junk, I've been in and driven them, the build quality is shocking.
Also good luck with that battery in a few years.. EV is not the future, look towards hydrogen and stop messing up the planet with plastic lithium cars that do more harm then good and are severely lacking in supportive infrastructure.

You are absolutely wrong, they were quite correctly refused entry to reboard the vessel as they had breached the restrictions imposed upon them.
It is unfortunate this is the way it has to be, however you cannot jeopardise the whole compliment of guests by one group interacting as they see fit with anyone willy nilly.
I say again it is unfortunate, however they knew the rules and they broke them.
Times have changed, you can't all go exploring and doing what you want anymore and then boarding a cruise ship with thousands of people again.
People will get COVID and people will die. Especially the older clientele. Things have changed, it's unfortunate, but they have.
