"Shareholders in Aston Martin which once held a stake worth more than 30 per cent in the luxury car market have further reduced their investment.

Prestige Motor Holdings and Preferred Prestige Motor Holdings have lowered their stake in the Warwickshire-headquartered listed business from 7.14 per cent to 4.12 per cent.

The shares are held on their behalves by Investindustrial Advisors Ltd.

I don't mind making 2-3k on the 10% weekly dips, I've missed out on quite a few but a few I haven't. My money isn't always available as other investments I have do the same. But when I see it and without being greedy I take action rather than sitting idle. By all means sit on your shares, but as someone who isn't overly bothered if I don't get another dip (although I will and there will be more to come), I like to have a bit of fun. This whole situation although is improving, for the cruise situation the problems are not in my educated opinion over for at least the coming months. They will not return to their former glory for quite some time. I also have massive losses to make up on after terminating my relationship with RDSA having been a long term investor. So you win some and you lose some, however I'm happy with my partial recovery from 50% loss on my RDSA. Still have a way to go with toying with carnival and my other stocks.
Not worrying if you miss the last low is not a bad mentality to have IMO.

Again defying the media again and raising from the news of a further operational pause for Cunard until March next year and Queen Victoria until May next year.
So just sold and will buy again at 900 thereabouts.

On a plane they arrive and go - could be argued they get ill from whatever source. On a cruise you are there for typically at least a week, very easy to pin point the root cause. You can't socially distance on either. Cruise ships will have to cope with the aftermath of a pandemic onboard.

Not even tempted until it reaches around 600-700 again - they are not cruising any time this year..
Don't be fooled into rushing in for a bargin, it will continue to go down for a few more months IMO as funds continue to hemerage. Just remember, no one will sail with any chance of COVID onboard a ship. Enhanced medical checks and temperature checks, no buffet dining will not cut it. Just one case on a ship - the ship will be locked down and one case will turn into hundreds very quickly. With the elderly, people will be dying - "Death Ship" as a newspaper headline will not be far off the truth and do any favours. This is quite simply how it is. You cannot run cruises and social distance. Simple.

You would hope 12 billion would be enough, on top of the sale of the ships and layoff of staff

Bigbadbaz - ahhh but although I have had shell shares for many years it was not so long ago I bought 50k worth, pre Corona at £21 and ever since them it's made me cry ;)
So it hasn't been very fruitful for that element..
The 20k or so NL RDSA shares, I guess I don't cry so much, just a little!
Anyway still in it but sold about 30k worth at a loss to explore other opportunities. I always felt uneasy having all my eggs in one basket - this is what happens. Fairly confident I can make it up by the end of the year with other shares. Just don't have the confidence in the short recovery of Shell and Oil in the next 6 months - longer term yes, but I want to buy a new house and am hopefully M&S, IBStock, Centrica, Rolls Royce, IAG, Aviva, Whitbread, Lufthansa and Saga can make it up for me :)
So that's where 2/3 of my investments have been moved to from Shell.
