Cruise ships and the crew are not the problem it's the passengers who bring all the problems onboard and try to hide symptoms of DNV and Norovirus etc, not washing their hands. If it's brought to the medical teams attention early it is very well managed. When it is hidden it spreads very quickly. The passengers will need to be re-emphasised on how to behave, there can be no hiding of symptoms, washing hands must be increased, social distancing, no ****tails, no buffet, no group interactions. It's going to be a very different place. The cabin corridors don't allow social distancing so they will have to be one way movents potentially.. the bigger cruise ships require 60% occupancy to break even, the smaller ones are most likely higher.. it will be interesting, I'm sure it will be overcome eventually. But I think there will be a lot of bad press and difficulties for the initial 12 months of sailings.I am out of Carnival and have no want to re-enter, not with their massive debts and stagnant fleets. Saga I believe is a better hold (which I have had for a while), and thank goodness ships is not the whole business - so I wouldn't be focusing just on the ships as for now and the next 6 months they are a money pit and a liability. However I am not worried about Saga share price :)
