It will not rise to former glory days for a long time. Burdened with debt, 15 ships sold or scrapped this year for peanuts, 100 ships to maintain, crew and keep in class. Further losses from ships on the horizon no doubt. No light to the end of the tunnel, crusing as we know it will change drastically and NOT be the experience you all enjoyed previously.I was a holder, I have no want to get involved with this over the next 6 months. I strongly suggest no one purchases this who is not willing to hold for a long time.I also believe further revenue generation is required, this will be through more high interest loans and share dilution.Nevertheless - GLA.

Currently Ibstock is outperforming most of the risers on this morning's opening of 3.5%, very surprising how little most stocks have moved on news of a Brexit deal..

Ibstock down almost 1% on Frankfurt trade today, most others are up 7-8%

This is getting ridiculous now, hope LSE doesn't follow suit..

We have the Brexit deal in one hand and the extension of tiers in the other..

I still hold my AA shares.
Undecided whether to sell yet.
However at the moment I cannot as I am midway transfering my ISA to IG from Fidelity.
Any changes to the ISA will delay this and roll it back to the start. I initiated the transfer last month.
COUNTLESS emails, phone calls, hours waiting in the phone queues and conflicting information from BOTH parties. It's made me very anxious and stressed at their complete incompetence to a simple transfer.
Not being able to speak to either transfer team directly and having to be the middle man between general help desk people who out right lie to you is nothing more than a comedy sketch.
After demanding evidence of what both parties have done to complete the transfer, seems like Fidelity are mainly to blame.
If you want to transfer an ISA between companies.. Good luck! OMFG WHAT A CLUSTER F*CK.

Whilst my previous post was somewhat optimistic back then, seems like there is now a chance for a Brexit deal opening up with regards to today's news! Construction firm shares also on the up, hopefully Ibstock to follow suit, but some steady consistent gains last few days.

I would disagree, I believe their highest demographic is Europeans, especially Germans and the British across the brand's.. Americans are up there, they might be equal but I wouldn't say they are the highest.

About a hundred, it was over a hundred but they've scrapped / sold a few.

I won't be posting here anymore, no one even thanks or acknowledges any of my messages, I may not be too knowledgeable with shares etc, but I have worked in the oil and gas industry for an oil major and actually now work and have done for many years for a leading cruise ship company and I am onboard.

Horsearse, just remember they are expensive to run, she will burn 100-120 tons of fuel a day and she has 1000 crew to feed and pay.
A cruise ship requires 60% capacity to profit.
Although when full they are definitely large generators of profit.

Hopefully a good few weeks ahead of us, with a successful deal on Brexit looming (I voted stay), vaccine distribution imminent and the new builds popping up everywhere (Would never buy a new build and I loathe what they are doing to greenfield sites). Don't see why this shall not be back to its former glory mid next year. It's been a well run company that has not struggled too much through the pandemic. I feel the fear factor had the biggest dents to the share price, on paper it should have been more resilient IMO.
