FY results 23rd Sept not today.

with this sp? Anyone want to speculate what the problem is. Seems like a good value to go in and top up? Appreciate it recently went ex-divi but now at year low.

Good question about market cap! Something I've tried working out but quickly gave up. A peanut and / or one of the other new drugs in the pipeline would have a transformative effect on the business. It would provide significant cash flow for future projects, deliver bumper long term profits but also put AGY in the shop window (if it's not already). So, I could easily see market cap rising by x3 - but that maybe greed kicking in! I added some more stock earlier in the week. Although I'm confident in low term growth it's always a little worrying buying at an sp a lot higher than it has traditionally been trading at over the past few years!

Porsche1946 - you do make me laugh. Do you not have anything better to do than criticise UK stocks? DLG paying 7.2% divi. You need to appreciate that everyone has different strategies - I'm happy holding a balance of stocks - from those that I think will deliver capital appreciation and stocks that constantly deliver a strong divi.

I'm heavily invested in this stock. I think what is clear is we don't have a clue what's going to happen over the next few days, weeks, months. For what it's worth I still think the stock will fall further. Whatever the Lynch news the market hates uncertainty. Whether he's extradited or not nothing will be resolved in the short term. Reality is it probably doesn't matter whatever the outcome. But I do really believe in this business but happy to wait a few more days before reinvesting. If I miss a price jump, so what, just accept my current position.

Good set of results. Shame about poor divi and no mention of share buy backs. Can't help feel these decisions have been taken to allow future ceo to take the glory on their arrival.

I hope they strike the right balance between share buyback, special divi, debt reduction and future investments to drive growth. I always feel special divi sounds good, but once paid share price drops similar amount. They clearly have a lot of money to play with! Happy for them to take their time and get it right - not sure they will have this opportunity again.

I agree. From all analysis looks like a very well run business. Obviously results of future trials will massively impact sp going forward. I'm surprised a GSK or other major hasn't shown interest in the business - maybe because the free float is relatively small. I'm happy to keep building up my holding - although penny stocks can swing dramatically!

AZN P/E is 49. GSK P/E is 12 - expecting a PE of 20 doesn't seem that unreasonable. Obviously whether GSK has the board in place to deliver the strategy required to deliver required growth is questionable!

As far as I'm aware the divi amount not announced yet - should be soon - expecting around 8p. Ex Divi date not until 21st Oct, paid 30 Nov. HY results out end this month, 29th July.

I agree, it's lazy journalism. Most people will see it as a cheap shot at trying to smear the Tory party and score easy political points. Are the Guardian journalists so naive to think no other nations politicians (whether in or out of office) also support national industries and try to secure business? Unfortunately, it just keeps the negative sentiment alive and until the SFO case is concluded the SP is going to continue to fluctuate. PFC clearly have a case to answer, but allowing the SFO to string out the investigations for so long is ridiculous. As ever SFO appear answerable to no-one and hide behind the excuse "these are complicated cases".

BAB website had been saying results end June - now changed to end July. Anyone concerned about this delay?

Can we expect a trading update any time soon? Appreciate Q2 results not due until end July - but wondered if there would be an update!

Over the last couple of months I've been buying PFC and BAB. Anyone holding any other shares similar that look underpriced and could break out? Please share!
