Agree that even the short term political mind should see the folly in a windfall tax but it remains to be seen how cash strapped the Chancellor feels. You’ll get a good idea if he first chooses not to remove/ reduce the VAT but seeks support elsewhere. It certainly won’t be long before consumers start squealing for some direct action rather than put another layer of clothing on !

The clear lack of urgency within the CTDA process would suggest UKHSA are comfortable within their forward planning that adequate supplies of LFT’s can be supplied from existing sources, bar the odd few days of awaiting new shipments. Would be interesting to know how many tens of millions of Tests have recently been secured as a direct kick in the face to the UK Diagnostics industry, but when in power it’s fairly easy to mask incompetence.

Anyway given MeduFlow is now authorised for consumer self testing within a much larger Market elsewhere, the real question for investors is what are MH now doing about it. Are they capable of delivering , what’s their distribution network and Marketing strategy as currently that’s somewhat opaque !

No worries, the UK’s Health Security Agency have it all in hand. They even managed to approve Five Covid-19 Tests during December ( only two of which are the UK’s) so don’t think you’ll see a car crash come the 28 Feb ‘22, when of course all existing ‘Non Approved’ Tests currently on the Market need to be withdrawn. No, this is politics, due to an “unexpected demand in Tests” expect yet another reprieve for the cheap / unreliable stuff…..another three months at the very least ! Who would have thought we’re still in a global pandemic & no wonder AS set his sights abroad !

Can’t see the Gov. buying anything unless / until it receives approval. Imagine the outcry of finding it’s Contracted to buy millions of non approved LFT’s ….almost as bad as knowing the Billions of foreign revenue now entering China !

We were told that Medusa had a Global, exclusive, direct-to-consumer sales and marketing agreement for COVID-19 self-testing, so does anyone know where Meduflow is being shown for sale in Europe & ROW, whilst we await UK authorisation ?

Q. Have Medusa ever run a National Ad. Campaign to promote their existence / Products available. Only ask as don’t live in the UK but it’s seems they & therefore Us, are just lost in the noise. Overall impression gained is that our Distributors are merely tinkering at the edges of what is a huge Market, even outside of National Gov. contracts to which we are largely excluded due to current scale.

Brent at this level is fine, as any dramatic rise north will likely just add more pressure to see a North Sea Windfall Tax that the ESG brigade / Liberals are now seeking to offset the upstream costs soon to fall on consumers. I know it’s a daft idea but anything seems possible with your UK government !

Prior to making any investment it usually pays to first research the Management Team who will be controlling your money ! For me it didn’t take long to recognise a CEO with vision, passion and an ability to deliver, whose qualities he would undoubtedly look for in others to join him,hence my holding here. I suspect Mr Brandon won’t let me down, indeed I’ll thank him now !

Shame in a way that Trump’s not still in power as No Way would he allow any Chinese affiliated tests to be bought by US money….only the UK remain that stupid.

When Biden finally remembers what was in his “Build Back Better” plan, now in tatters, he’ll no doubt be back on the phone to Mohammed bin Salman pleading for more Oil. Not that many thought his incentives of up to $12,500 per electric vehicle, to increase customer demand, would get many US Roughnecks to swap their gas guzzling SUV’s anyway, but was another nice sound bite at COP26, now fallen at the wayside. All remains well.

Difficult to see what will immediately lift the SP as the Norges purchase & Short closings have had little effect so far, and Management buying so close after a TU isn’t likely to do much either. The best to hope is a positive Jan TU covering Dec but that’s unlikely to show any dramatic alteration in Returns or an International turnaround or real Pandemic costs reduction ( which may show later in 2022) .So that means waiting for YE Results sometime in May, for which we know largely what to expect. All not forgetting inflationary pressures and overall lower growth forecasts in key markets. So for LTH ‘s , best hope is that Management are up to the task, as another lacklustre update would be punished.
