Problem here is can they replicate the explosive growth seen over recent years. Based on consensus forecasts the current SP suggests a forward earnings multiple of circa 15. That seems reasonable but unless the results ‘blow the doors off’ and add a Dividend into the equation, I can’t see the SP going anywhere. Best days may be over.

Think you guys need to focus on the Consensus figures pencilled in for FY 22, and decide if they’re a stretch too far …..look below top line Revenue. We all know what happens when you embarrass analysts !

It’s a simple case of whether you miss or exceed Market consensus ! ESJ came in above….can BOO do the same, or is the Mkt already positioning itself for a miss ?

Well BOO are certainly going all out for Revenue given their current discounting strategy, but others will be impatient to see what impact this will have on margins !

Interesting the level of ‘new’ Credit Card borrowing, which according to the BoE is now surging as inflation kicks in. Problem being there’s a finite limit to that so at some point discretionary spending will suffer. Let’s see what guidance the next TU provides !

And quite an achievement to get past those gatekeepers, plus provides increased visibility for a UK Company, that it’s own Government seems intent on suppressing !

I suspect he won’t be remotely interested in daily SP movements, it’s an irrelevance until you liquidate. Likewise find the Markets short term panic somewhat predictable given the media hype, but a good time to buy if you have the funds.

Well if the WHO predictions are anything like accurate we’ll probably see a Market wide correction before normality returns but failing that it’s now down to how the Peak Trading Period pans out, so little to drive momentum until TU early 2022. Covid has a lot to answer for !

So have BOO’s ‘twenty something’ target market still plenty of disposable income or are inflation costs starting to curtail their spending habits, as will a signposted BoE Rate increase hit their Credit Card statements ! . I’d also be somewhat cautious about the robustness of their UK Manufacturing base without full knowledge of security over raw material supplies. Just a couple of issues added to others that I’m sure are currently weighing on the SP, hence its of little surprise there is still an appetite to Short.

“ this stock is ultimately destined for great things”....you can’t say that. Yes we all hope so but until we have clarity on currently two important issues the Market has correctly taken a cautious position. Failure on the dominant issue will cause a problem for us all !

Personally don’t blame AB, he issues factual detail without gloss which has always been his style but unfortunately that doesn’t appeal to short term traders. It’s just when you analyse the detail you realise why he remains so confident. Thankfully topped up another 100,000 yesterday.

Suspect the Cartel will not wish to see their controlling authority undermined so may well freeze their monthly increased output to allow any SPR releases to first dissipate. Of course there’s a limit to how frequently the SPR tap can be used . Don’t always agree with Barclays but do this time !

Just question the wisdom of investing in Oil Production Companies if it makes one seemingly so upset to the point of calling everyone else who tolerates risk and sees a different outlook as “a clueless gang of muppets 13:16 ” . As detected little intellect have now Filtered.

Well at least we now know where we stand ! Sorry for those needing to sell at a loss otherwise for LTH’s it’s only time we’re lost. Could have done without the mechanical issues but thankfully we’ve so far been saved by Brent. Thankfully bought substantially when below 0.10 last Oct, and will do likewise again if the Market loses its nerve. Will be interesting to see if AB takes advantage here.

Bit of a “storm in a teacup” given few probably took the Numis Report seriously but until MM provides more clarity on earnings & margins, and not just revenue from its three core divisions, can’t see sentiment dramatically improving any time soon. Indeed interestingly someone triggered another short position yesterday.....that won’t have been authorised on a whim !

Interesting that yesterday OPEC Secretary General Mohammad Barkindo said “the group sees signs of an oil supply surplus building from next month adding that its members and allies will have to be “very, very cautious”. Sorry Joe, but Cartels only operate in the interest of its members !

Overall a reasonable set of numbers. ( International growth will pick up once external issues subside but is still a small part of whole....circa 7.5% in 2018 leaving plenty of room for growth, so no worries ). Remains a firm hold for me having enjoyed the ride from the “Darby days “. Leave the Market to display its usual short term pessimism !

Be careful what you wish for !. In any event these latest issues wouldn’t seem material otherwise they have a duty to inform the Market. The next OU will likely reveal all, so if your a nervous holder suggest sell beforehand !. My horizon is still 18/24 months away !
