Must admit to being initially surprised at the extent of this fall. Thankfully cashed out at circa 1450 as clearly it was ahead of itself & have been awaiting to buy back in. Just not liking current Market sentiment and inflationary headwinds so wouldn’t be surprised if my revised buy-in price isn’t achieved sooner than later, perhaps helped by a quick Market panic. GLA.

@strike. Good to see you’re in profit already but aren’t you putting yourself thro to much stress. Buy and review Dec earliest. Like many old timers here, most of us won’t raise an eyebrow until we’re a multiple of todays SP. Meantime just smile at the price whenever you need to fill up with fuel ! GL.

Not surprised the Markey has, as of yet, given any real value to this Signpost, given timescales involved. Markets look ahead but not that far. It’s still bruised by further delays to any real LFT revenue, so sentiment is pretty flat ( apart from some of the enthusiasm displayed here ! )

Any LTH’s will be willing for a SP drop here , to load up again. Prefer to keep quiet about this news !!

No dilution yet, indeed would expect many of those Options to lapse as tied into
Performance / SP targets. Don’t forget EBT already hold significant shares in Trust, so really a none issue. The Management Incentive Plan (£150m bonus ) is where you’ll get real Dilution but no one will care by then, as SP will need to be a multiple of where it currently is for that to trigger !

One needs to ask why Returns have been allowed to get out of control for so long , to the extent of impacting on Costs, when we’re told they’re only running 7% higher than the pre- pandemic period ! It hardly inspires confidence that Mgmt are on top of the issue or know what to do about it . Perhaps they should tune into this BB !

Well let’s see how Management get themselves back on track. Inflationary headwinds will, from now on, only get stronger so they need to do a little more than merely repeating the same. As of yet I don’t share the same conviction that Mgmt have that capability. The next TU will confirm if buying now was inspired or careless.

Agree, that’s a smart move which places them under stricter governance, something BOO needs to consider.

guess quite a few investors don’t fully understand the Company, nor realise AffiDX had already been suspended from sale in the UK and their main Distributor isn’t yet up to speed with EU sales, so todays news hardly warrants this fall, but hey ho that’s

Just wonder if AS has unnecessarily shot ourselves in the foot here. Certainly the FDA whilst recognising “early data suggests that antigen tests do detect the omicron variant but may have reduced sensitivity” and have flagged up various Tests of concern, as of yet none seem to have been withdrawn from sale. Rather than playing by the Rules, we seem to be inventing new ones. Persil should sign him up as being ‘whiter than white ‘ !

You’ll have to wait till this has stopped ripping thro all those Stop Loss positions ( another feature heavily promoted to gain increased fee income ) only then will we see what the support line is.

Frankly if you need the so called protection of Stop Losses you really shouldn’t be investing, they’re automated programs that only seek the first available price below your trigger point.
