Group Net Production slightly lower than expected, but given “Extensive maintenance shutdowns are also planned at both Magnus and Kraken” then not surprising. AB has clearly learnt its better to be cautious ! Otherwise all OK.

@sterow. If they can entice a known ‘heavyweight’ on board, and let’s face it they have the cash to do so, then that would surely be a coup and the SP would react accordingly. I’m sure JL has tried his best, and has been thro personal tragedy ( losing his son) but it’s a tough game the top and you’re only as good as the last set of results in this world. Of course they’re not that many proven candidates to chose from, but it’s one of several options that must be going thro MK’s head !

Given a few II investors are some 70% down on their previous Fund Raise support they won’t be sitting idly by just waiting for something to turn up. Suspect JL is under quiet some pressure to explain current issues and set out corrective plans for future growth. Wouldn’t surprise to see a few changes at the top table. Something is needed as this is currently just being played by the Shorts, whilst Mgmt keep stumm.

@mm. Many non-investors / analysts won’t have a detailed knowledge of events that have taken place over the last year or so. It’s an opportunity to catch up. What we don’t really know is what the real objective of the exercise is, not that it will stop the Market from thinking it knows why , which already may be happening !

Just keep in mind these events take weeks to organise, they’ll be very unlikely to be planned around specific news items , and even less so if such news may be inconclusive. Thankfully AS is a very accomplished speaker on his subject, so even without anything new to say, his audience will likely come away impressed ! For me, as a LTH, this is another calendar event not to get excited about.

Looks like these guys will be on another stocking bonus again this year. Thankfully I dropped out of Ceres Power before they got involved but they went Short at over 1000p …it’s now around 525p. You bet against these guys at your peril !

Suspect they’ll carefully play this now using a stop/ start practise, only problem being when they eventually leave as few others with muscle seem to be buying !

alternatively await until you see positive signs of recovery either via the TU or II Shorts closing…..the latter to date, have been a far more reliable indicator than most others often looking backwards !

Seems to be a lot of pain in the Mkt / Crypto today not helped by Putin & his mates who probably ‘shorted’ Global Mkts long ago…..not a time to be a mushroom !

Hi Euro… would normally engage but have just been emailed a number of transcripts, of what one could call puerile diatribe, by a guy called Tom Winnifrith of ShareProhets, on a certain popular Stock. Check him out , he may appeal to you. Irrespective he’s highly amusing, and dare I say it, makes more informative reading than many of your own posts, so my focus is currently elsewhere. ??

Well Trading Platforms should first seek your permission to loan out your Shares but in the ‘small print’ you may find you needed to opt out. After all it’s another source of income for them so previously they haven’t been exactly up front . Can’t help but smile thinking those condemning Short’s could actually find they’ve actually loaned them their own shares !!

Unfortunately many have been saying that since last Sept when it dropped below 250 & that was before the latest news which has currently tied you to the launch pad. Don’t you think some of the Directors would have bought by now if they saw blue sky ahead ?

“ I think the whole stock market is on the verge of potential collapse”….perhaps a little dramatic but certainly a slow correction is taking place which is more pronounced in a couple of sectors. Some investors won’t have experienced what effects higher inflation can cause, life rarely continues as you expect it to !

Maybe feel they can probably buy the stock cheaper following next TU !

Given the current news blackout has at least another 6 weeks to go, the SP will likely just follow the general Market sentiment, which isn’t that good currently. So not surprised to see one investor losing faith, wonder if others will follow. Seems the Company may have chosen a rather apt Trading Name !

Trading & Profit combined with a positive outlook is never a bad combination so happy with that. How the Mkt reacts is anyone’s guess these days, but will tuck away again for a couple more years yet. Like AW style !

Update promised early March following YE closure 28/2, hence you’re currently in no man’s land going nowhere !
