Not surprised if this takes a short term pause, but still a long term banker. Just need all that Retail Stock to first be cleared, which from the likes of Next , will be heavily discounted when they are finally in a position to ooen.

Difficult to assess size of rights issue but they wouldn’t bother doing this to raise peanuts. Obviously many claims are now hitting their Reinsurers so they’ll be needing to reinstate these covers sharpish, which won’t be cheap. Thankfully I’m now out HSX but will look again once the dust has settled but suspect will be able to re-enter at a lower price, but their beginning to lose their shine.

Karv1.....likewise I’ve liquidated a decent slice of my portfolio this am. ( including AV ) as fear the general Market hasn’t yet fully priced in this global downturn and a further correction may happen.
Hope not, but the Market currently seems disconnected with reality and I fear its partly being driven by the Retail investor, judging valve only against historical share prices. GL.

Yes an interesting SP reaction ! . I do however fear another general Market correction in the near future , so I’ve pulled out for now but GL to those holding.

Once a vaccine appears normality will resume. Ok the housing market will likely fall hard soon, which is no bad thing, with rental & mortgage defaults fuelling its decline. But humans are sociable by nature, many will not volunteer to permanently work from home and social distancing is a complete impracticality. Oil will remain a vital commodity and demand will return. I’m happy to sit with ENQ. indeed took advantage of its recent fall.

Itsa....no problem with expressing opinions but constantly offering guesses on various pricings gets somewhat tiresome, especially as you seem constantly wrong. None of us have that gift other than a general belief in the direction of travel given current circumstances. Trying to offer a more accurate assessment merely weakens the argument. Anyway GL with whatever you’re invested in...I suspect ENQ. doesn’t fit your risk profile.

Can well understand those with a high average here being somewhat frustrated, as we’ll unlikely see 100% gains in AV. anytime soon. Only option being to trade yourself out of your losses, unless you have a long term horizon. There are plenty of bargains currently around which are likely to out pace AV in the short term. GL.

The Company will likely not disclose prices per test, as that may well vary on volumes ordered. All I’m saying is folks need to do there own research here rather than just follow the hype. Yes the next RNS may well provide more financial detail that will support the SP. but currently this Company’s fortunes are largely based upon a single product, which by its very nature has a short life span and will soon hit the headwinds of competition. The trick here is knowing when to bale out. GL

Otto.....that was a good entry point. Irrespective of the Board & CEO who has still to prove himself, AV has been a cash generating machine and will continue to be so , albeit at a reduced pace for now, irrespective of who sets at the top. Institutional Investors will be calling for Tullochs scalp if he doesn’t perform . We’re not in terminal decline just out of favour . Difficult to predict the short term path of SP. but for LTH ‘s this price level has attraction.

Interesting Mkt Cap. when viewed against potential revenue/profit ....just need to be aware when enter bubble territory !

Good to see AV’s exposure to Corporate Bond defaults would appear fairly limited as most carry a fairly high
debt rating and overall its not an excessive amount....unlike L & G with over £17 billion of BBB negative ie. just over significantly speculative !

So L&G now has £1bn of ‘junk ‘ bonds plus some £17bn of low grade BBB rated bonds exposed to default. Guess we need to see how this develops but suspect it will be a drag on the SP until better clarity on performance is known .

Whilst no expert it does appear that there has been a global shortage of Ventilators in general, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a general increase in demand anyway. Anyone have an idea on the working life of a Ventilator ?

Difference is the Shares held by Mr Tulloch won’t have been paid for in the first place, unlike the poor Retail Investor !
