Well they do potentially have a very valuable asset, only problem is no one can yet put an accurate FMV on it given NCM will be the Operators controlling extraction/production costs....so someone will need to have deep pockets to join as a minor partner. Best outcome would be for NCM to acquire 100% but thats not a certainty. Problem here I see is GGP only have circa £6m in available cash , with no current income only exploration costs which gave them a £2.5m loss in last 6 mths !
Which leaves NCM in a strong position. Hardly worth a current MC just shy of £300m one would have thought, but thats for others to worry about. I won’t be investing.

Yes interesting. I bought an additional 30k in several blocks on Friday, having initially been informed that each trade had not been confirmed, only to later find my account had been credited with the said number. All trades were shown as sells ! The recordings are clearly not perfect !

Well if they don’t take up their 5% option GGP will have a slight cash problem, which may still be the case anyway seeing NCM still have 4 yrs left to satisfy the Farm In agreement !

At lot will depend upon forward commodity pricing and other capex Newcrest are
exposed to. Not surprising they carry a reasonable amount of debt already.

Tiggerman. Q. why would NCM pay for sole rights to Hav. when they will already own 70% after Stage 3. The only additional expense I can see is their option to acquire an Additional 5% on completion at fair Market Valve.

Toff....think you’ll find many Institutional Investors have trimmed positions and those with minor holdings have exited. The share price wouldn’t have collapsed if all Shareholders had been totally supportive. If & when they announcement reinstatement of the Dividend I may return, provided current Management are gone !

Personally see the Dividend being reset against 2020 results. The 2019 divi is gone, and many Shareholders have abandoned ship already, so why would they declare a special divi. to reward those not being supportive to previous years. They’ll taken the flak for their decision and so far survived, so will be looking at current performance . Unfortunately can’t see 2019 results being repeated anytime soon. Plus no one yet knows what the BOE /PRA may require in terms of Solvency Ratios going forwards, in this new world. They’re not known as Cavalier’s are they !! But GL.

The vast majority of folk trying to trade volatility get their timing wrong so eventually lose. Best just do your own bit of research, buy at a level you’re comfortable with and hang onto them. And don’t play with money you either don’t have, or can’t afford to lose. This one has all the hallmarks of a very good investment, if you are patient. GLA.

Seems to me they need to get their Click & Collect App. fully functioning across the estate with timed collections, to substantially cut down on internal queues, and implement walk or drive thro’s where physically possible. It just needs everyone to accept that previous customs currently no longer apply.

Difficult to know what level of Short Closings has contributed to upward momentum elsewhere but guaranteed its been going on, as we lead into month end . Not all buys are a show of confidence !

Even Hiscox Ins. , who’ve recently announced they ‘re thinking of an equity raise ....partly to pay to reinstate Reinsurance covers, hasn’t fallen that far...indeed when last looked today they were up !

DC.....the problem is that the Market doesn’t always react in a rational way, as we all know. You only need Herd Instinct to seek safety in cash, to suddenly kick in with vengeance and AV, along with many others will suffer accordingly. Many in the US are already calling the recent rally as a Bear Rally, and suggesting that March lows will be revisited and likely lower, possibly as Q2 earnings upset confidence. To me I don’t see AV moving out of its current trading zone anytime soon, unless downwards, so limited risk to sit in cash, plus no lost divi. income. But everyone has to decide best actions for themselves. If I’m wrong then I’m really no worse off & pleased for others. But obviously its much easier to sell if you’re not crystallising a loss !

Yes best be cautious now. Most Company earning updates pre-date the real effects of this pandemic and once the true extent of valve destruction is seen I feel most stocks will be realigned accordingly. Forget historical share price comparisons ......there has never been a global event on this scale before, bar WW2.

You never know Krak. but Oil stocks may well turn back in favour before too long. We’ve already experienced value destruction, so many sectors have yet to see the full impact and when reality hits, the Market will be looking for those that have already weathered the storm.

“have we’ve been had here” .....No, but sentiment is expecting positive news , which seems more probably than not. Any delay / dampening of expectations though and this will retrace pretty rapidly. I’m firmly in the positive camp.

Rom....I see HSBC has taken a $600m hit from Hin Leong Trading...just amazed how some folk manage to hook wink others into parting with such substantial amounts of cash, on the back of a good story, and don’t then follow it like a hawk. Conversely try paying £10k cash into your local Bank and you’ll likely be considered to be money laundering !

Plus being able to screw BP & Dana down further. Great timing to do deals if you’ve the money ....which for PMO remains a slight issue !
