I've invested in FXPO twice, on both occasions it has fallen 50% and I have been tempted to sell but both times it has recovered and I've made big profits, not for the faint hearted but good returns if you run the race.

£12 was when there was no sign of a vaccine. Now we have several vaccines there presumably isn't that much need for testing.

I didn't say I want to top up, I said I might once I review my data at the end of the month.

As for being a Spurs fan, as my name might suggest I have supported Sheffield Wednesday through the good and (mostly) bad times. I don't think a Wednesday fan has ever been called a glory hunter !

Nige, I totally agree. I don't understand the fascination with dividends, it is the total return that is important.

If you want a 5% return per annum then simply sell 5% of your holding each year, there is no need to day trade.

When I reviewed my investments it was those that didn't pay dividends that showed the best returns. I would much prefer a company to re-invest profits rather than return the cash to shareholders.

Dave, you are right, I normally hold for 12 months and then sell so I should have sold a couple of months ago.

I didn't actually need the cash at the time so I didn't bother selling.

The way it's going at the moment it may soon be back on my momentum list and I might have to buy more and hold again, god forbid !

The market over reacts. OCDO probably went too high due to the virus and it's probably now retraced to a more realistic level. It's still up over 60% over the last 12 months so nothing to complain about there.

At the risk of repeating myself it wasn't the virus that caused the share price to crash, it was the crap update from the management.

How do you know I am not a holder? I had a small flutter on these a while ago and I am well in profit.
You are right though, I have done no research, it was a tip I was given during the early days of the virus.
This is not an investment for the serious investor.
If the results of the vaccine have no impact then why has it fallen from £2.60 to 96p ?

The increase on this share was on the assumption (hope?) that good vaccines would not be developed.

Vaccines have now been developed so the share price has fallen. I see no reason why it would go back to 185p.

I don't have bad trading shares, I hold my shares for at least 12 months and accept that I will lose on some and gaine on others. If I read anything on a particular BB that I am invested in that I don't agree with then I will comment on it.
I still don't understand all the euphoria about this share. Congratulations to those who have made money but over the last few years the vast majority have lost money, it is still a dog of a share.

It's already flying high, more than doubled in 6 months. Leave it alone HP, this constant rise must really be upsetting you.

It depends how you define "good", the share price reflects what is expected in the future, not what has happened in the past.

That is giving advice, whether you accept it or not is up to you.
