I agree with you that it is better than leaving money in the bank.
My point was that no single investment is certain, I make a good living from my investments but I accept that within them there will be quite a few losers.
I am invested a fair bit in NEX so I am confident, although perhaps not as much as you !

NOFEAR claimed on Friday that CPI would be 44p today. If you are stupid enough to make such daft predictions then expect to be criticised when they turn out to be so wrong.

This company has consistently under delivered, it's share price in 2015 was over £8, many people have lost fortunes with it since then.

It has been forced to sell ESS at a low value to fund it's debt, I'm not quite sure why people see this as a positive.

Anybody can win contracts, whether they generate significant margin is another matter.

What I day say was stupid was your claim that it is very likely this share would go up 234%, it is not impossible but in way is it very likely.

You state that I am not invested in this share. Again this is a stupid statement. Unless you have access to my accounts you have no idea what I am invested in.
It could well go up 10%, 20%, 30% but to say that it is highly likely to go up 234% is stupid. This may well be your target but in no way is it highly likely.

To get to £1.50 it has to increase by 234% in 12 months.
Of the 600+ shares in the FTSE how many have achieved that sort of return in the last 12 months. Just 1, AO World, which is up 300%, mostly due to shoppers moving online due to the pandemic.
So you expect CPI to do what just 1 in 600 shares had done in the last 12 months. This really is nonsense and questions the logic of anything else you say, unless you have some knowledge of CPI that nobody else does.

These estimates very rarely prove to be correct. I remember the forecasts if we voted no, a million unemployed, house prices falling by 20% etc.
I'll stick with the facts and the only fact is the £13b. We import more than we export so we are in the driving seat.
