RE: Brexit endgame10 Dec 2018 20:15
These are forecasts and most forecasts have proven to be incorrect. They are often politically motivated and they all use the same models so they obviously come up with the same answers. All these sources predicted a major recession after the Brexit vote, it didn't happen. None of them predicted the last financial crises. There are too many variables involved to make forecasting anything than an educated guess.
The facts we know are.
We will have £39,000,000,000 extra to spend.
The head of the WTO said an open door awaits the UK.
We will have lower corporation tax, greater labour flexibilty, a universal language, financial expertise, a skilled workforce and some of the best universities in the world.
We will no longer have to impose EU tariffs on imports, lowering costs.
